INDIANAPOLIS, IN (May 2, 2024) — A new definition and subsequent warning for faking being fouled (flopping) has been added to the NFHS Basketball Rules Book for the 2024-25 season.
This revision to high school basketball rules was one of 12 changes approved by the NFHS Basketball Rules Committee at its April 9-11 meeting in Indianapolis. All recommended changes were subsequently approved by the NFHS Board of Directors.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Member schools of the Ohio High School Athletic Association will vote on six proposed changes to the OHSAA bylaws during the annual referendum voting period May 1-15. Results will be announced on Thursday, May 16.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary High School senior Malaki Branham was announced as Ohio Mr. Basketball Wednesday by a statewide media panel.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Toledo St. Francis de Sales won the Ohio High School Athletic Association ice hockey state championship on Sunday, while the wrestling state championship matches begin at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at three sites, including Division I at Hilliard Darby, Division II at Marengo Highland and Division III at Marion Harding.
