Softball Powerful Pitching Performance From Taylor Carries Tallmadge Past Jackson Ironladies

Myrtle Beach, SC - Larissa (Lars) Taylor was dominant in the circle as the righty rang up 12 strikeouts in Tallmadge's 3-0 victory over Jackson Ironladies on Tuesday (3/26/24). Larissa surrendered zero hits and zero runs over seven innings while walking none.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Tallmadge struck out 12, while Jackson struck out nine.

An error put Tallmadge on the board in the top of the second.

Tallmadge added two runs in the third. The Blue Devils scored on two wild pitches, making the score 3-0.

Serenity Taylor took the loss for the Ironladies. She went seven innings, surrendering three runs (zero earned) on five hits, striking out nine and walking none.

Leila Staszak, Tallmadge's number eight hitter, led the teams with two hits in three at-bats. Tallmadge plays Chardon on Thursday.
