Thanks for the update. I believe that the Gilmour and CCC games are misstated.

Final phase should begin this spring before track season is underway. Everything is in place and ready to go. Once old bleachers are down, new ones going from the 15 yard line to the other 15 yard line is the length, about 18-20 rows deep with press box. Targeted goal for the fundraiser would see about a seating capacity of 2,500 seats, one sided due to property constraints with neighboring HWR David Simpson House’s parking lot. Grant it I won’t be surprised if they bring in portal bleachers for extra seating and do what was done for the last two games of the year.

2,500 is more than enough for any game they’ll play. The crowds aren’t historically that large. If they played Benny or Lake the crowds would be close to 2,500. Playoffs could be close to 2,500 so seats might need to be brought in for those games. 2,500 should work just fine!!
 
I imagine the seats will be pretty close to the field. It will be pretty easy to hear Rotsky when he goes off on one of his weekly tirades..

Am I wrong here? Doesn’t he have a temper tantrum every game? Does he not yell, scream and curse at players every game? By the way, I like VASJ, just not the Rotsky version of him. Once he leaves, and he will leave in the next 1-3 years, I’ll support the school again.

They converted the former tech building into an athletic building with a weight room in the former auto’s garage, with converting a couple of labs and classrooms into office spaces for coaches, a film room, and a wrestling room as well. I saw the inside of the building for the first since I graduated 10 years ago and did a nice job creating a space to expand and utilize space that would have otherwise gone to waste. Lockers for the football players more space to store their pads compared to the size of the lockers in the existing locker room in the school.

To answer your question, MAYBE, the Diocese KNOWS more than you THINK you know 🤔

But if I had to guess, it would be 1. You've never actually met the man and/or 2. You're going off stories that have been told to you from your uncles neighbors cousin's friend who had a co-worker who's son played for him 15+ years ago at Chanel. Blah, Blah, Blah.

Either way, we're doing just fine over in the Viking Village and are excited for the upcoming season. We don't worry about the haters, plenty of them out there.

Ok what the hell did Rotsky do to you personally because thats ober the top. My Dad taught with him at Heights hes not some evil guy thats bs. Over the top maybe but youre going too far with it

He a very gifted talent acquisition specialist but he cannot coach his way out of a paper bag. Think about it, all the talent he has brought in and zero titles to show for it. Right after he left Chanel they got coached up and that same talent won, same thing at Maple.

I won’t post on this subject again until he leaves. When he does though you will be receiving a giant “I tried to tell you”.
 
As for football, the locker room and new field have been tremendous developments in the last 3 years. Who would have thought that could happen after decades of football on Lake Erie. The strength program is paying dividends and it seems like there are a ton of kids in the program (last year I heard it was near 100). Competitive at all 3 levels with big programs. For 2024, tons of momentum and a big year after losing a lot of the talented defense with 5 of them going on to play in college, per school website. Offense returns most of the key pieces including its superstar. Schedule at this point looks a lot like 2023 where they went 7-3, I would think that's the floor this year.

Naw trust me....easy schedule will have them entering the playoffs very healthy. Nice new little stadium will have them excited....Do we know who has transferred to VASJ yet? Rotsky isn't done yet.
