When the Ellet job opens up in a year or two (and it will!) KV will be a leading candidate. The question is, would be bolt if offered the job?

I asked him that the other day....he said no. He definitely sounded proud that his kids are in the weight room getting big. It would be a shock to see him leave for Ellet. What does Ellet really have to offer? Definitely not a better pay.
Springfield has a very bright future. Have you seen the progress over here ? I dont know the influx of students k-12 that have enrolled back to the township but I heard its in the 100s.
If he was able to get a job similar to his (which there is no chance of) at Springfield he would leave in a hot second. What does Ellet offer? Better athletes, students, more dedication, high expectations from the kids (especially after the last two years), better looking moms....

Athletes maybe....the rest ...not a chance. Springfield blows any and all inner city schools away with education and facilities. Teachers dont have to wear bullet proof vest .

I Grew up in Ellet, played Ellet pee wee till I moved to Springfield. I went to Ritzman then to Hyre. Im not a total Springfield guy. Hey its great to see Ellet do well. But when I played their it was the kids that I lived with and around me that played. Not from other "areas". We had one kid on the roster last year that lived outside the area, but he went to Springfield all his life.
Ellet is fine. The community and neighborhood is 10x better than what Swampville is...Not white trash, wife beaters, cans of chew, and random tattoos all over the palce

I lived in Ellet growing up, my mom still does. I went to Hoban for 3 years and then went to Springfield my senior year. My mom would not let me go to Ellet, even though we lived about 1000 feet from the school.
When we played Ellet at Ellet that year in basketball, the APD had to escort us in and out of the school because Ellet students were throwing stuff at me. Everytime I touched the ball, I was booed. Honestly, I was a little scared. I would never go to Ellet.

And to see the mobs gathering up and down canton rd from eastgate plaza to walgreens is a sight to see. Trash thrown all over the place.

truth is that polster can't even handle his own house let alone know anything about Ellet or anyone else.
What makes you think Ellet would even hire Vaughn??? No one wants a 13-47 coach with no discipline.
except Springfield... ha ha I think he's the Principal or Athletic Director so he won't fire himself at Springfield will he?

I would never go to Tallmadge. When you're molesting your own teammates, that's as bad as it gets.

Springfield coaches can't win. The people complaining about Vaughn having no discipline on his team seem to be the same people complaining about Shaffer's discipline and expecting too much. Football team loses and it's because Vaughn's lack of discipline, basketball team loses and it's because Shaffer has rules with no exception to who the player is. It would be great to see some of you complainers coach these kids!

Shaffer's discipline is EXACTLY what they need.
In fact, hire him for Superintendent! Fix the whole thing.
But you'll keep drinking the kool-aid, because you're in for another 3-7 season. But you won't ever change.
Problem is most of you wont hold your kids responsible or accountable for anything, and you won't hold the school leadership accountable for the awful, LOSING culture in Springfield 7-12.
Why don't you ask the hard questions there? Why do you lose every year? Really it's cause you do not care past what your little Johnny or Joey is doing. Ask one of their overpaid administrators for straight answers. Ask one of their overpaid teachers why the culture there is so bad.
But you won't.
You'll just keep making excuses and defending people and AD's that wont fix the bad culture because they just want you to go away and your kid to leave in 4 years, so they can happily cash their paychecks.
Your AD laughs at you all the way to the bank for 80 thousand a year.

No wonder Kevin puts up with so much zhit. Id be wiping azzes for that kind of money. lol. bottom line Springfield doesnt have good athletes. They could however overcome that with some team unity. I know last years class had allot of bad apples in it thinking they were better than Jesus Christ himself. More than half of them didnt have to work for starting positions missing the 2013 class. I hope it can change johnnyfootball.The overpaid thing is reaching a little to far though. Superintendent gets what 120k and doesnt do half of what Kevin does.

Heard a few good things about the football program.
Offensive coordinator came back from Green. Dont know the story why, to many to list I heard.
And James and one of our receivers took fist place at a air it out competition. I dont know exactly the name of it was but good Job!
And the High School is looking freekin great.

Polster, have to agree the HS is looking great, what a great addition to the community.
Curious, who is the offensive coordinator that came from Green? If its who I think
it is it won't be much of an improvement, maybe even a step back.

He was our O-coordinator last year then got a job at Green then came back. I guess the grass isnt always "Greener" on the other side. lol. The guy is really good though. I hate it when guys use Springfield as a stepping stone.

Wait...you are telling me that Ellet is better than Wadsworth and Hudson? And you could tell that by a scrimmage?
They looked just as good or better. Wadswoth had negative yards against Ellet in first ten. Maybe 20 in the second ten. Hudson scored on play 10 one time an d not the other time. Ellet scored on both.
