FIFA has decided they like having games shared by different countries to spread the wealth around, in 2030 they are taking this to the nth degree and have set up games on 3 continents:

So that means 2034 will be between Asia & Oceana which also means another WC in late fall early winter to coincide with the best weather in these areas. Of note from the column:
