Final Comments:
While we graduated only a small group of seniors from last year’s 10-3 team, that small group had players that made huge contributions to our team for multiple years, including 6 players that were multiple-year starters. We feel that our defense is ahead of our offense at the moment, due to returning 8 starters on the defensive side. We also return 6 starters offensively, however, we are still working to find the combination of offensive linemen. We have a lot of returning role players from 2022 that are ready to step into an increased role. For 2023, our motto is “We Before Me” and we expect our young men to step up and fill the void left by those who have graduated and seize the opportunities they will have while being selfless and doing what is best for the team.
