Highland Youth Wrestling Districts

I'd like to make a suggestion to whoever is in charge of running this district wrestling tournament. DON'T LET HIGH SCHOOL KIDS RUN YOUR TABLES!!!! I have two boys that wrestled this weekend at Highland, and in the past your tournament has ran very well. This year, however, I was very disappointed. Your table workers were terrible! I know that this is a thankless, hard job because I've done it many times. I also know that it takes ALL of your attention. You can't be talking on a cell phone, or kissing your girlfriend, or whatever they were doing while you're keeping score or time. These kids are depending on these people to do a good job. I saw quite a few mistakes cost kids points and maybe matches. My two weren't affected by this, but a lot of others were. Adults should run these tables, not kids! I can say it was frustrating that all day long the two scores for mat #2 were different. Anyways, just my opinion. Good luck to all your kids that made it to states!
