On Tuesday the Panthers finished first at the sectional tournament at Crossgate Lanes in Blue Ash to advance to the district tournament next Friday at Beaver-Vu lanes in Beavercreek. Sophomore Noah Schott and senior captain Ben Seger paced the team with a 629 and 588, respectively.
The top four teams and top four individuals not on a top four team will advance to the state tournament on Friday, March 8, here in C-bus. That happens to be the first day of the state wrestling tournament; I hope very much that I will be monitoring the progress at the Schott of one or more Panther grapplers and so unfortunately won't be able to watch the Panthers in person if they can punch a ticket to the state tournament next Friday.
Best of luck to the Panther keglers at Beavercreek!
