The Chinese make a quality EV with better range for a much cheaper price. Instead of letting the market force our automakers to make a better product for a competitive price. We are going to take the lazy route and just place tariffs on the product.

That and due to regulations, American autos are top heavy on tech gizmos that make the cars unaffordable and do little to enhance safety or driveability. But UAW workers clock in at $42 hour while Chinese earn around $12, so all is good 🤔.

American consumers have demanded those gizmo’s. Let’s see if demand for gizmo’s drops now that the price of a new car is unaffordable.
