2024 Inter-Valley Conference Schedules and Discussion

It will be made official at the May board meeting. Tusky Valley isn't going to publicly announce the hiring but the new coach did meet with players.

Job #1 is to put together a great staff. Hopefully it works out. Every school benefits from a good football program.
Seems odd to not announce but I like the practice of that. You’re not bringing someone forward that you don’t have a 5-0 vote on from the board. I’m sure they’ve already cleared that with all 5 board members.

They did announce the hiring of two administrators today that will officially be hired at the May board meeting according to the superintendent’s twitter.

Yep. TV doesn't really announce the hiring of coaches though. I'm sure at some point a media outlet (probably WTUZ) will reach out to TV for a comment but TV themselves isn't going to make a big deal of it

Region 15 is looking really favorable for Indian Valley. The team that has knocked them out the last two years, Big Red, is out as well as a couple other tough teams that could have been a problem for them. With all that they have coming back it could be a year for the Braves to have a deep run.

is anyone poised in the North division to challenge Malvern. Never thought I would see the day that Malvern would pull Minerva kids but here we are. At that division level 1 or 2 transfers that can contribute can make a big difference.

just wondering if Stras is ready to push, if Newc returns anything, if Buckeye Trail (which I would like to attend a game there this year) or East Canton had anything for Malvern?

The Malvern Garaway Crossover game should be a good test for both teams. Garaway losses a lot on offense and defense. Talking with a couple of the coaches, they've said the off season lifting numbers have been pretty good. Not sure if that means they will win 8 or 9 game but hopefully they can be competitive

Tusky Valley Board of Education has released their agenda for their May 13th meeting and it looks like they will be making it official that Jeremy Taylor will be their new head coach. Good hire for them. I was personally hoping that Zach Gardner would get the job but I could see why they wouldn't choose him if they were looking for someone long term. The moment the Dover job opens up it'll be his for the taking.

Who are the assistants? Is he keeping the TV staff or bringing in some staff members from Malvern?

Any idea who Malvern's new DC will be? I'm pretty sure the North will come down to Malvern and my Trojans again so I'm interested to see what happens to the Malvern staff

TV officially hired Jeremy Taylor last night at the BOE meeting. No idea on the assistants.
