Saw a slew of playoff matches today in smaller school ball... for anyone who follows that:
Ridgewood beat Indian Valley
Tusky Valley beat Steubenville Central Catholic
Waynedale beat Norwayne
Orrville beat Tuslaw
Dalton beat Rittman
Canton CC beat Northwestern
All of those were in straight sets... saw all but Waynedale/Norwayne, came in on the end of that one.

Saw the semi's at Smithville last night... Orrville and Dalton both won in 3. Waynedale and Canton CC were competitive, but neither of the two winning teams would be denied.
Last evening in Attica, Norwalk sweeps Willard for the 3rd time this season to earn the DII District 6 title. Norwalk plays Amanda-Clearcreek at 6PM in the Ontario Regional semi's. Following the Norwalk match will be the Padua vs. Eastwood match. The winners return next Saturday to play for the ticket to Fairborn.
Don't get upset! Was just trying to add some discussion points for DII....Like I said your picks are very solid and are probably the most likely outcome; but, it is always fun to hear what others might think. Since I primarily follow DII I would not want to try to predict the other divisions. Alas, since you asked, my picks would look something like this (with my winners in Red):
D1: MND, Toledo SU, Pickerington North, Walsh
D2: Padua, Wyoming, Lake Catholic, St. Francis DeSales
D3: Miami East, Bloom Carroll, Liberty-Benton, Gilmour
D4: Villa Angela St. Joseph, Newark Catholic, Lehman Catholic, (Norwalk St. Paul)
And just to put out fair warning.....I never finish in the top 10 of my March Madness picks, so please take these picks for what they're worth....Some uninformed spectator that really does not know much about the game!
I'm doing much better than my typical March Madness Picks!! Although I did lose one of my Winners in Norwalk St. Paul!! Oh well!

OK, my prognosticating skills are now holding true. DI MND out (Congrats to Lakota East-Wow!!). D2 Wyoming & Lake Catholic out. D3 Liberty Benton & Gilmour out. D4 All Picks out!! Like I said "an uniformed spectator that really does not know much about the game". Guess I'll stick to my day job!!
Wow...I did not see Lakota East winning tonight. Just 3 weeks ago, MND swept them pretty easily 25-23, 25-22, 25-18. East is a very good team, don't get me wrong but I wonder if the soft postseason teams hurt MND going into that game. They were never challenged in one set much less a match. No one scored more than 17 points in a set. I know no one wants to play you when you are undefeated and #1 in the state.
UA should have beaten Lakota West quicker. Seeing as how MND beat UA easily twice this year, I expect East to take care of business against UA Saturday. And seeing how UA took out Toledo St. Ursula in Toledo earlier this year, East looks like they could get to the state finals if they bring their game. But who knows, that's why they play the game.
