The Warriors can't afford to get comfortable or let our guards down. Remember last season. This is a long road trip against a team we know very little about. Gotta play clean, mistake free, penalty free football.

agree 100%, I would hate for the team to blow a game because mistakes and penalties.
This could be a tougher game than expected if we have to go without our starting qb. Remember what happened last year. We went with Hooks(in the East game) when Gary got hurt last season. He looked as bad if not worse as the backup did friday night. Any word on Hooks' ankle?

Shamar is ready to rock!!! It was a mild sprain! MILD!! I only worry about the ride up and how that affects the Warriors legs. If they are ready it wont be close. The Defense has been playing lights out!!! Warrriors continue to roll and move closer to state!
That's great news!!! I hope there is a opportunity latter in the game to get the back-up few snaps so he can feel more comfortable if called on in the future. Is the back-up QB one of the Lumpkin twins?

Yes the back up is one the Lumpkin twins. I only can tell them apart by their number. #5 is the QB, I can see him being moved to RB next season. The other is #25 and plays corner. IMO, I think both would be starters on a lot of ballclubs. I think they start at a school like Elder right now.

Hold on now. Let's hold off on talking about state. The Warriors need to take care of business Friday. They have played hard but now its time to take it up a notch. The defense is playing really good. I always like to sing the praises of players that are playing good but may be overshadowed. Obviously Cage and Edwards are the truth but I like #15 Rankin. He quietly goes about his job and wins his battle 90% of the time.
This year's schedule is why Alder craved getting into a league.....they should carve up the MOAC
The Pioneers seem to have bitten off more than they can chew, particularly in the second half of their schedule. This shouldn't come as a surprise, since almost everyone else is playing a league schedule weeks 6-10, so that leaves you relatively few options to pick up games.
Our boys need our support on the road. Only 1 home game left. FOREST PARK STAND UP BABY!
I wish there was a radio/internet station that prodcast Warrior games. I can't make it to every game due to my work schedule and I would love to have the ability to listen to the game live. I know I can't be the first person to want this. Thanks to Yappi I can follow the games in real time.

Don't forget about about Grissom and Gist. Theyve really come into thier own! As far as the defense goes our secondary has not been tested this year. If we have a definite weakness its there. Both in personnel and scheme. IMO we rely to much on pressure from the front seven.

the game will be televised by TWC on tape delay friday night at either 10:00 or 11:00.

Yea they have, but being skilled position players they get a lot of attention. I like the Center. I think his name is Mike Day and he is a junior. He didn't have a really good game against Thurgood but he has stepped in this season and done a nice job. And the entire wide reciever corp has done an excellent job blocking downfield. When Grissom is breaking off 40+ yard runs someone is downfield blocking and getting it done.
