Team is very athletic again. The boys look strong and fast. Obviously the weight room time is paying off! Worstell looked very good. His arm is as good as any high school QB I have seen. Fitting kids into the right spots will be something they need to work on. The addition of McDaniels to the staff will help the offense in a big way this year. Defense needs to find some swagger. Overall, I think they looked good.
Line will be solid this year. Mike Spohn, Jr. and Steve Mathie, Sr. look good. Watch out for Bondarenko, Sr. at TE 6'4" 240. Kid did not play last year due to injury. Big strong physical TE with good hands. Imhoff, Jr., Withers, Sr., Bungo, Sr. and Sigfried, Sr. will also play.
GO should be a real solid team this year. If everything clicks together they could also be a playoff team that is real fun to watch.

Thanks for the info. It sounds like the kind of tight end McDaniels likes to have in his offenses. He likes throwing to his tight ends down the middle. Sounds like you'll have a lot of good players and a good team again this year, and I think Thom will improve your offensive production over what you've had in the past. Your early game with Massillon should be pretty interesting.
GlenOak fans, Not in town that much in June and July can you help? Are there any updates from camp? Do we have a 7 on 7 game next week at home?
Anyone know if Scott is going to change the offense? I heard something about spread. Hope not, we have so many good backs and WR. Hope we stay with the same offense IMO you add Worstell to it and we can be very good. Also, heard our OL this year can avg about 260 across the front and that group work very heard in the weight room. Just let me know if what I am getting is correct.
