northmont football 2011

well it almost here again and gang green gonna strap it on for another season of football. me and dad was talking last week when i seen him for fathers day and he dont think northmont gonna have much this year but i thank they might suprise some people and win the central league. they was young and wet last year and they learned a ton in the trenches. thats one good thing about losing it makes you tough and teams is usually pretty better for it later on. ceneterville and wayne dont scare me and they sure as heck dont scare gang green. you guys that no them can tell them to. i aint trying to have nothing i say be on there wall in the locker room cause i know sometimes snider takes stuff of here and hangs it up for the boys to read in the lockeroom but im just saying gang green aint scared of them teams. me and dad didnt go to hardly no games last year after practice games cause dad was fightin mad after he seen them playing like babies. dad said i aint going back to jail unless a good looking woman is the reason..hahahahahahaha he is a hoot. my mom say to know dad is to love dad. anywho what do other fans thank about gang green this year?

In football you "strap it up". There are probably "strap on" forums out there...but this isn't one of them.

Wow, I was really hoping he had gone for good. I blame all you posters out there who were wishing for him to return so you could have some entertainment. Well be careful what you wish for because you might just get it.

What is goin on over at northmont these days? I just graduated from there in 2010 and back then we were at least considered a threat if not a legitimate force in the area. Now I hear how northmonts been suckin wind for the past year or two. Did the coaches change things up? Is it the lack of quality players coming through? Is the atmosphere at northmont concerning football going downhill or what? I loved playing all 4 years for northmont and really want to know why my proud Alma mater seems to be sliding down a slippery slope of deterioration.

All of the above and lack of dicscilpline. To maky player seem to do what the hell they want to with no fear of being disciplined by the coaching staff. They talk about sitting players but they never do unless your a non starter type then you are SOL. But I have been saying this for the past few years and nothing changes and I usually get told I don't know what I am talking about but it is what it is. Some things never change

This season the schedule is probably the easiest schedule in the last 4 years. There should be no reason why Northmont should be at least 8-2 or 9-1 this season. I'm glad they took Sidney off the schedule and put Dunbar in. I know Dunbar is D-3 (I think for football) and you get more playoff points off Dunbar then they were with Sidney. 2 things for Northmont to have this season is to keep the players in check with discipline which has been a very lack of since the 2009 season and be injury free. I heard last year the team had too many discipline problems with the players getting busted for smoking weed and were suspended for the first 2 or 3 games. Looks like Schneider needs to get his act together and start coaching if they want to make a serious run this season. Last 3 seasons were a total joke and uncalled for. After going 10-2 in 2008 to 6-4 (2009), 6-4 (2010) and 4-6 (2011). Last losing season was back in 1999 when we went 0-10.

2012 schedule

8-25 Princeton (7-3 2011)

8-31 @Westerville South (6-4 2011)

9-7 Lakota East (4-6 2011)

9-14 @Fairborn (6-4 2011)

9-21 Dunbar (6-4 2011)

9-28 Beavercreek (6-4 2011)

10-5 @ Centerville (7-4 2011)

10-12 @ Fairmont (2-8 2011)

10-19 Springfield (2-8 2011)

10-26 Wayne (6-4 2011)

Yep, it's a management problem. Northmont football isn't "sliding down a slippery slope"....it's being driven through the guardrails and over the cliff.

Northmont football under Schneider peaked in the mid to late 2000s. Id say a changing of the guard is in order but im told everybody loves him. If he ever ends up leaving he ought to take spillers arse with him.

I agree 100% tboltguy!!!!!!!! Schneider is trying to be like Coach Bud Kilmer from the movie Varsity Blues. If they hire someone, they need to look outside of the current staff and hire a coach who knows how to coach football.

A semi truck with a wide load assist vehicle would be needed to haul Spiller's arse away.

So their schedule record is 46-45? Good luck with that one! Shouldn't take much.

Well I hope they have some of whatever it is you are taking because the last time they played 5 of these teams they lost. $ of them were last year and Westerville South was 2 years ago. THey will be lucky to go 5-5 this year. I truely hope they follow your expectations but realistically, I just do not see it happening with this team any time soon. We have no size on OL, not that it matters if you have the talent, but that is where Schieder puts his beef regardless of how good they are elsewhere and we have none. Belton is a middle of the road QB who thows interceptions like there is no tommorrow. Receiving corp is usless and wants to hotdog when we are getting blasted thinking they have done something good by scoring on 2nd and 3rd string defenses because they can't run patterens agains a good 1st string, and Defense, being the only bright spot, is no where near what they were in the past. Again, 5-5 at best, but I guess we can all hope you are right.

Sorry, it's 'works'.
Yes. I am a new poster but not new to reading this site.
Boy, how mighty have fallen. First you folks are on Coach Schneider's back, now you are after Spiller (the AD I think).

So, if I read your post correctly, you're saying that Northmont can't be 8-2 or better. I agree with you. I'm thinking 4-6.

And, your profile says you are a 2000 graduate of Northmont. Does that mean you were a member of that 0-10 team?

Great to see that Northmont agreed to drop their game with Sidney. Great job by the Bolts there.

Terrible to see they then decided to pick up Dunbar. Come on, a D3 team?

That being said, it is a much better game for all involved.

This is so true. It has been my experience that he will literally make things up and post them as the truth. It would just be best to avoid him all together. If you don't, he will then insult and taunt you while bring up your family members. A real classy guy.
