Has anyone heard anything about a TV schedule for this fall? I always look forward to the telecasts and even try to catch some games live if they're close by.
While we're on the subject, has STO or ONN announced a TV schedule? It's mid-June and the season is drawing near. This information should have been made public by now.
I thought it was Strongsville - LC week 1. I could be wrong though.
I saw that they were a Thursday game. I can see no other reason to have the game on a Thursday unless it was televised on FSO. In looking through the scheduless on the OHSAA website, it is difficult to pick out which Thursday games could be on FSO. Most of the few Thursday night games do not look FSO worthy at all.
Most of the schedules won't be changed until later this summer. I know Mentor's Thursday games have always been Friday to start and then changed when the schedule comes out officially.

Some schools do thursday games Week 1 to stand out from the other games that weekend.
Later in the year, many schools do thursday games because of Yom Kippur I believe.

True. Which makes it annoying when you're trying to figure out which Thursday you want to go see a game before the season starts.

Your initial post on the 2011 thread has Mentor's scheudle with a Thursday meeting at Solon. That thread opened in February, 2011. The scheduled Thursday games should be done by now. Even if the announcement isn't official until later in June or July, usually by this point the potential games are already adjusted on their schedules.

One year doesn't mean it happens like that often. Many of times these schedules are changed late in the summer. I agree they shouldn't do it, but it happens.

I agree. LC never plays on a Thursday and when they do, it usually is on TV. I know Mentor opens up at home on Friday. There is no other reason the Strongsville - LC game wouldn't be played on Saturday.
