You don't seem to be taking any of my expert advice. With each post you keep getting in deeper and deeper. Now you're winning a league championship and kicking our butts. When your house of cards fall, I don't think you're going to be able to take the heat. And trust me, there will be heat.

You're an expert in houses of cards falling because that's an annual event in Eagleville. And when it happens again this year as always, trust me- there will be heat...

Bob,
It's only June and your battery is already on low. Your posts are getting weaker and weaker.
As entertaining as all the arguing is I would like to know who is expected to be the top QB and RB in the conference this year.
Blasiole from Lake is a clear cut #1 RB. Glover doesn't have much experience, but he should be tough also. At QB, look for Worstell to have a big year for the Eagles.

Lake fans might not be exaggerating when saying Blasiole might become the best RB in the history of Lake football
How would you know bigbulldog?Living in Florida is getting to you.Unless you have actually came up and watched a few games.Your opinion is all biased hear say.The kid is only a junior and did more last year as a Sophmore than Luther did as a Sophmore. He also did it with one of the worst OL's in Lake history. Not saying he will be the best but he certainly has potential.I'll take the kid who took played a full season over over a kid who had 1 good game against a team that may have had a weak run defense.

I read alot of the Lake threads(Because I like them)and some Lake fans believe he will be the best RB in the history of Lake football. That is really saying something with all the good RB's Lake has had over the years.
I see alot more games than you think.I even get to watch our scrimmage against Iggy.Of course I purchase all the games that WHBC sells every year.I also get to see the games being broadcast by webcam, like the Huber Heights Wayne and GlenOak games last year. And of course I get a DVD of the McKinley-Massillon game every year. Then there is my cousin who played on the 1981 Canton McKinley State Championship team! He goes to all the McKinley games and other Stark County games. His father,my Uncle does the same. They both keep me updated on Stark County football. Then there is McK.com and Yappi for further information.
Your taking the kid from Lake over Glover from McKinley seems to be a safe bet.I wouldn't argue with you.I admit I'm biased towards McKinley kids, and thus picked the Glover kid.
GO BULLDOGSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
You're starting to sound like Pee-Wee Herman (I know you are but what am I) If you can't think of any new stupid things to say,I'm going to have to quit picking on you.

I generally don't take advice from posters who can quote Pee-Wee Herman, birdbrain.
What about the transfers playing at McKinley this year? Answers?
Did Rios bring his kid? That's a no no if I remember what McIlwaine said.
Canton kids get to play not transfers.
that does not apply to rios and you know why.if mckinley dont beat massillon and get to the playoffs this year.rick 2-8 rios may be your head coach next year.THINK ABOUT IT PEOPLE.ITS ALL SET UP
I understand all of that, but it was very clear that they got rid of Johnson becasue he played transfers and one being a coaches kid too boot. All of those same things are taking place again. Will the same rules apply to Coach Filtz? Seems like a double standard but I will keep an open mind until I get some concrete answers. Only fair......
I think that Lake fans are right in thinking that Blasiole may be one of the best backs in Lake history. The kid is just a great football player in the same way that Luther was. The kid was one of the few players in Lake history to see playing time as a Freshman, that rarely happens at Lake. Only time will tell how good he will be.
Cant wait for the season to start.
Here is my Federal League order to start the season.
Glenoak
McKinley
Lake
Boardman
Hoover
Jackson
Perry

We understand your point, but Rick Rios is not a bad coach -- and he would not be a bad hire.
Yes, in the past we have had great individual talent, but haven't been able to have consistent team success. I can assure you that Scott Garcia has played a major role in our resurgence. I agree with you that our fans have pretty much sucked over the years, but since we have been winning they've gotten a lot better. Imagine that.
youre right he has played a major role...its called recruiting.
bulldogbob, about this mck miles ahead comment being floated around, you can throw out the league record all you want the thing that matters is trophies and you are not miles ahead in that category. and looking at mck's playoff record while a member of a league while being compared to the other members is relevant. saying playoff wins earned 30 years ago makes them miles ahead today is like saying the Browns success of the PB era makes them an elite team in the NFL. of course its a tradition to be proud of, as is the tigers, i just dont understand why the fanbases view it as a club to beat people over the head with. theres pride and then theres arrogance. there are a number of solid programs in the area with tradition of their own...it may not be your tradition but it doesnt make it any less proud.
Big Bulldog, I know GlenOak football probally as good if not better than most people with exception of Coach Garcia and a few others, I will say the 1985 GlenOak team that beat Mckinley in the regular season and lost to them in the playoffs was and is still is the best GlenOak football team in GO history. The winner Of the GO and Mckinley Game was going to Cloumbus, unfortunlatley it was Mckinley but what great games those 2 were that year.
As for GlenOak they have turned into a respectfull program under Garcia and the excitement and support in Plain Local is unbelievable, We will play anyone no matter who it is, we will not shy away from certain schools like some other schools in our county.
I like GlenOak, Lake and Mckinley as the top 3 in the league this year.
i must have missed you schedule Iggy and St X. congrats. do you go to Death Valley or does Stuebenville come here this year?

A program is more than just the play of a team. Some program's teams are up and down, as ours has been in the last dozen years. Therefore, being selective as to which years to count rigs the game. If trophies are all that matter, then our State Championship trophies certainly trump the rest of the league. State is far more important than league championships. And remember, our '97 team played Federal League champion Hoover in the playoffs and won 40-8 (it was 40-0 till late). So saying our pre league accomplishments are lame is lame.
