Wrestling Documentaries

What full length wrestling documentaries have been made. Everytime I do a google search all I find are horrible WWE documentaries. The few that I know of are:

Veritas - Jon Trenge
Pinned - Lance Palmer
Takedowns & Falls - Central Daulphin Program

ESPN did a documentary on Iowa wrestling about 8 years ago. Season on the mat, or something like that.

There was also the recent MTV documentary on wrestling.

Anyonw who has not seen Veritas, I would recommend it because it is about one person who struggles with anger management in Trenge. I was also impressed with his head coach in this movie Greg Strobel of Lehigh and enjoyed watching he he went to great lengths to help his athlete with his inner demons and temper.

Takedowns and Falls is great because you see the highs and lows of a high school team that goes through a season with super stars like the Peppelman brothers and Kenny Courts of Ohio State.

Pinned also was great...Palmers and St. Ed's.

ESPN did a documetary on the Brandon, Florida high school team a number of years back (maybe called "The Streak"?), which was pretty well done.

The MTV one was called "Mat Time" as part of their "Real Life" series. I was pleasantly surprised by it. It follows a WA state team through a season. Only an hour, but I thought it was well done. It is available for viewing on the web.

Wasn't that a series? Eric Grajales was a freshman or sophomore on that team and I believe Franklin Gomez had already graduated. That was a pretty good show. I think Cozart's son was one of the wrestlers as well.

to my recollection this was a two hour or so documentary which followed the team throughout the season.
but when i say "to my recollection," feel free to take this with a grain of salt, because trust me, as of late i'm having trouble remembering what i had for breakfast.
come to think of it, today i think i forgot to eat breakfast.
regardless, i'm hungry, so i'm signing off.

Kenny Courts was not on that Central Dauphin team in the documentary. His dad was a coach but young Kenny was in junior high still.

Do have any idea where I can purchase this as a DVD? The only place I can find is Amazon on VHS for $48.

Actually it's the "True Life" series and it's called, "On the Mat". Found it though... thanks!

I wasn't expecting trying to be a jerk, I was just giving an "fyi". Great document though.
