Leopards should be good, a extremely strong team with great defense! You should be proud LN, i think everyone thought the coach would leave after his daughter went to Malone. Louisville has some nice coaches thoughout there programs. What is the softball coaches record for the last 3 years? Overall? Do you know LN

I will look into it to be exact, I don't have 2009 completed yet missing some stuff, but here's what I have up the site for 2010 and 2011:
How many returners for Louisville? I will say it will be 1. Louisville, 2. westbranch 3. alliance, 4. Carrollton, 5. Salem 6. Minerva.7, Marlington 8. Canton South

Everybody but Desi Givens, Ashley Horton, and Kyleigh Zwick as far as starters go.
Leps returners based on last year's roster:
C Emily Isla (Senior)
P Gianna Falcone (Sophomore)
OF/IN Amy Hoover (Sophomore)
P/OF Brittany Flanigan (Senior)
IN/OF Chandler Rice (Junior)
OF Brooke Lehmiller (Senior)
OF Shelby Swigert (Junior)
OF Carlee Baumgardner (Senior)
IF Jordan Monnot (Junior)
C/IF Annie Wolfe (Sophomore)
Very solid returning class. Flanigan will be dominate on the mound, Swigert and Isla had high batting avg. last year, and Rice, Monnot, and Baumgardner can go deep at any time. The rest are solid hitters as well and Falcone is a solid #2 Pitcher and only a sophomore.
Coach Givens still has two more daughters that he'll probably want to coach. The younger of the two is currently in 6th grade so he'll likely be around for at least another 6 years.
Leps Roster is Isla,Falcone ,Hoover, Mullett a soph new comer, Flanigan,Monnet, Baumgardner, Cozy a freshman heard has a great glove and bat, Cox,Woolf,Rice(POY) , Swigert a great lineup with a lot of POP!!!

Battle of the Warriors was closer than what the final score was. From what I had from updates, Carrollton was up 1-0 after 1st inning, but WB scored 3 in the second, each scored a run in the third, and then WB got a huge five run 6th inning. Had bases loaded with either 0 or 1 out, and then a walk brought a run home to make it 5-2 WB. The very next pitch(might of been second pitch...update came just about back to back), one of the younger WB players hit a grand slam to make it 9-2. That's all they needed as Weber threw the complete game.
We all know they're top notch (and so far playing sub-par competition)... we'll find out just HOW top notch April 9th weather-permitting.
I would agree but Bondoni hasn't ever given up runs like that before. That was crazy. We play Perry in a doubleheader Saturday does that count as top notch? I heard Tilton is out and Rohr is graduated. How are they?
Carrollton gave Louisville trouble last year, and again their 1st meeting this season at Carrollton. Louisville started sophomore Gianna Falcone on the mound; Brittany Flanigan came in to pitch the last three innings to seal the victory 6-4. Two-run triple by Chandler Rice in the top of the 7th.

Carrollton always gives us fits, glad we could pull it out.
West Branch squeaked out a win with a tying run in the top of the 7th and go-ahead/winning run in the top of the 8th. 2-1 over Minerva. WB and Lville only team's in the conference without a loss. Collision course again just like in hoops?

West Branch is still fairly young(except for their ace pitcher), and so far, their season has been a rollercoaster ride.
Doubleheader to start season at Northwest. Lose the season opener 6-0, but win Game 2 by score of 10-0...I feel first game was jitters/nervousness for the players. Game 2 they settled in.
Against Carrollton, they were down 1-0 and came back and took lead remaining of the game. Score was 4-2 going into bottom of the 6th inning when a walk with the bases loaded brought a run home, and then a grand slam by sophomore #23 Bailey Mcelwain. That made it 9-2 and Carrollton was demoralized.
Against Minerva, much different. Had 11-12 baserunners left on base for the game, but still found a way to win the game with 2 outs and a runner on first, down 1, in the top of the 7th at Minerva.
Louisville started their sophomore pitcher vs Carrollton if you want to be factoring in everything. . .
I am...That`s why i mentioned WB played at home and Louisville traveled to Carrollton for the games against Carrollton. Nothing would surprise me...Louisville could blow WB out, but WB could also pull out a small 1-0 or 2-1 win...any result wouldn`t surprise me...
Forgot about that doubleheader today, would've listed it as the first real test if I had known... sounds like a great pair of games
They sure were McGal! Lake at Louisville Saturday, but we can't look past Minerva who has a pretty good pitcher from what I hear and a trip to Salem Thursday.
