They are looking legit so far. I hope they can keep it up. Brand and Igs is a pretty nice combo and the guards and bench have been playing well so far. They could be decent with a healthy Evan Turner.
Knicks are horrible on defense once again this year even with Chandler so I fully expect a Sixers comeback if the Knicks cool off a little bit offensively.
Yeesh, still struggling in the 2nd quarter. Just 35 points at halftime. They actually cut into the lead a little bit though thanks to some strong D/Knicks cooling off in the 2nd. 45-35 at the break.
Wall is ok but needless to say is not the type of player that can put the franchise on his back and lead them out of the NBA basement. He might be pretty good if he could shoot worth a damn.
Eight straight game the Sixers held opponents to 90 or less. 2nd ranked defense so far (86.2 PPG). They will need to keep it up to make a decent run. Also currently ranked 3rd offensively (101.3 PPG) which is surprising considering the lack of star power.

It's amazng to me that he can't even put together a respectable jump shot considering how athletic he is.
What's most impressive is that the Sixers are winning big. They are just whipping teams. Yeah, they haven't faced a lot of tough teams, but good teams thrash the weak ones. Tonight is a big test against the Heat.
It's incredible that the Sixers are this good without a star player. They really are an ensemble cast, and it's rare to see such a group be so successful. They have completely bought into Doug Collins's philosophy and have really taken on his persona. It will be great to see how far they can go this season.
