9 TD's in one game!!

Aaron Green, a sophomre running back for San Antonio Madison, Scored 9 TDs against Kerrville Tivy in his second varsity game. Before you scoff at the competition consider that Tivy is a top ten 4A ranked team in Texas. Last year Tivy beat Converse Judson. That's the same Judson that later lost by 3 to Euless Trinity in the Large 5A championship game.
Green's father played for Baylor and his uncle Gary Green was a 4 time Pro Bowler for the Kansa City Chiefs. Next week Madison plays New Braunfels HS which is led by whom many consider the top LB in Texas, Tom Wort. Wort has committed to Oklahoma. Should be a heck of a match up.

Is that a Texas and/or a National record?

It was a typical Texas defensive gem. Madison won 69-56. It was a SA city record but I don't know where it stands on the state or national level.
The kid is 15 years old. He plays in a tough district so it will be interesting to see how he does as the season progresses.

In California in 1994 Bloomington beat Artesia 82-62. This was a division 8 2nd round game. Bloomington that year broke the single season scoring record in the nation. They averaged something like 63 PPG.

I'm not sure I would call that a Defensive gem, unless that was undetectable sarcasm

Green was pretty well contained last night. He had about 125 yards rsuhing and threw a HB option pass for a TD. Madison beat New Braunfels HS 24-21 in a very well played and entertaing game to watch. NB has 2 LB's that will play D-1 ball and a pretty good QB who is about 6' 4" and will probably get some looks from some Non-BCS conferences.Typical District 26-5A hard fought ball game.
