At least I didn't have to sign a "Pledge of Allegiance" to the Democratic party hahah
A friend that works with me (from Portage County) had to sign a "Pledge of Allegiance" to the Democrat party upon receiving the Democrat Ballot. It has wordage in it similar to the American pledge of allegiance, promising to uphold the standards of the Democratic party before all others..or some crap. He said he felt like he was signing the Communist Manifesto haha

I just got back. My first observation was that the polls were dead empty. My particular location has 3 precincts at one spot so I found that to be very unusual, even for a primary election. Next, I couldn't find my Ohio drivers license so I got hassled about that. I had a copy of my latest property tax bill in my car and that was sufficient, barely. Lastly, they had me sign the affirmation about switching parties and supporting the principles of the Democrat party. I said that would be easy, because they don't have any. Everybody got a good chuckle as there isn't a Democrat within 5 miles any direction from where I vote. I then proceeded to cast my vote for Hillary Clinton. Dirty as it felt at the time, I have a feeling I'll be rewarded in the long run.
I believe they did! Hillary's proving she can play the republican's game of nasty campaigning! I don't think McCain will be able to compete with her in the general election! Have you ever listened to the guy talk? Wait until the debates!
I didn't have to sign anything either....the lady knew what i was doing because my polling place was in a church. So when she "your registered a Republican do you want to vote that way" i looked up and said "please forgive me for what i am about to do" Then just shook my head no and she marked the correct box. When i got over to the guy programing the voter card was the first time i had to actually say the word when asked me how to program it. I had to try and say it 3 times before i could get it out without trying to vomit in my mouth.
In the end i ran over to the machine voted for Obama, then for the 2 Levy's that was on the ballot and ran my card back to the guy so i could try and forget the entire ordeal.
I still don't' understand why you guys voted for the Hildabeast....McCain can't beat either one of them and i don't want "that thing" running the country! I will vote for McCain in November no matter who is running against him but i don't see him being able to win.
Before any challenged person shall be allowed to vote at a primary election , the person shall make a statement, under penalty of election falsification, before one of the precinct officials, blanks for which shall be furnished by the board of elections, giving name, age, residence, length of residence in the precinct, county, and state; stating that the person desires to be affiliated with and supports the principles of the political party whose ballot the person desires to vote; and giving all other facts necessary to determine whether the person is entitled to vote in that primary election. The statement shall be returned to the office of the board with the pollbooks and tally sheets . . . .
Just so you know, all of you are guilty of election fraud. You may want to revise and/or delete the evidence.

Well, LCD did not lie. He was asked if supported the Democratic Party principles (whatever the "H" "E" double L they are) and he honestly responded, "Sure, that's easy because they don't have any".

Sounds honest enough to me.
Well, they do, but if I were to recite them then I'd feel dirty...
