Jason Patton (Perry(05), Kent st.), Zach Leonard (Mckinley(o7), Eastern Mich), Aaron Thompkins(Perry(07), Furman), Alan Morrison (Glenoak(05) Kent St.)
Boardman-Joe Bako 07' (West Virgina)
Dom Sylvestri 07'(Butler)
Armoni Johnson 06'(Oakland)
Ed Deluca 06'(Ohio Dominican)
Joe Iaccabucci 06'(YSU)
Anthony Porter 06' (YSU)
Josh Gardner 07'(Ohio Weslyan)

Ed was a starter for BHS. Very good hitter and a utility player that could play anywhere on the field. He was very respected and earned the right to play for Ohio Dominican. Something you will never be able to do. He was one of the reasons Boardmans team was succesful. I use the word team because you obviously know nothing about TEAM and Ed was all about TEAM!!! Matt on the other hand never developed his senior year and may have once he got to college.

my teams woudnt have won 36 games in a row and we wouldnt have won state and regional titles if i or any of my teamates were not team players as u say.deluca couldnt have started on our pony team yet alone ohio dominican.boardman had to be awfully sorry if he was one of your main players.i dont recall boardmans baseball team winning any championships that year either so get your facts straight before you come on here talking crap.maybe you didnt win because YOU had to many selfish players on that team.if all those guys are playing college baseball then why didnt they win anything in highschool
To the thread though, hows Anthony Porter lookin for YSU? is he gonnna start?
Porter is looking good for the Penguins. He should get a look at DH/1b. After a solid year down at Okaloosa-Walton JC, I can see him having a good career for YSU.

the same is happening all over the southwest ohio area... players are not playing much at the hs level going on to college and seeing playing time at the college. in some cases it seems to be players developong but i think it is rather the hs programs fault
some of last years graduates that i know of are
aaron thompkins- furman university
camden carter- malone college
scott gnau- capital university
dan henderson- mount union
zach leonard- eastern michigan
ryan stutler- translyvania
britt williams- mount union
thompkins, carter, henderson, leonard, and williams all made first team last year. so that gives you an idea of where some of the top players are now playing...
