rooting for the Chiefs as i just can't stand to watch another Super Bowl with the Patriots in it.

however, it wouldn't surprise me if Belichick figures out a way to stop Mahomes & Co. he made Rivers look like a rookie.

Mahomes played very well after the initial moments of being too hyped, and that was in NE.

PH plays QB like I do in the backyard/flag football with the kids with his arm angles, no looks, back against the grain, etc. It is almost like he has thrown caution to all the supposed 'never do's' as a QB.

WIth that said, I see a moment this week or in the super bowl where he makes some of those decisions that are very non traditional and they go against him and a number of people use it as a 'gotcha' moment but in reality it is the reason why he has gotten to where he has this season.

I know most dont want NE in the SB. Again. I like it when new teams make it, but I like it more when young guns have to "Pay their Dues" in the league before reaping the rewards so I am hoping to see a SB between two futre HoF first ballot QBs.

I see this as the last hurrah really of the old guard in the NFL with QB's and next year the young guys really take over.

this will affirm the NFL conspiracy theorists' views as to what the NFL wants to happen, and also wait for that certain flag(s) on Sunday that tends to go toward making this result be true.

One can make many different narratives for the matchup.

Old (Brees or Brady) vs Young (Goff or Mahomes) in the passing of the torch!

I could see the NFL not really wanting NE in, again.

I think the NFL would love nothing more than a repeat of that 54-51 crazy game of November 19th. Defense be damned!

Brady has lost his last 3 road games in the playoffs.

Of the 104 teams who have made the SB, only 2 had a losing record on the road in the regular season like NEP.

For these reasons, Chiefs win.

Tough one. Pats on the road is a factor. I see it as a toss up but I hope the Chiefs can win so I'll go with KC 34-31.
