There is no whining or complaining from me. To think there is a threat to set up a new league away from the IVC is something that is harder than many think. I just don't see schools jumping. Fairless has complained about being in the PAC for years yet that is the best league for them at this time.

But go ahead and continue the narrative you wish to follow. Not my fault some of yall are on the outside looking in. Happened to catch a game down route 800 and was able to speak to both superintendents last night. Decent game, lots of personal fouls, so much for anyone not thinking SV/EC wasn't a heated rivalry LOL.
It's actually not going to be hard at all. The league is already going to be set up for them in every other sport. All they have to do is add football and the small schools + SV will have their own league.

Time will tell.

It was a good game puts Central into playoff position if they finish 5-5 which is likely

So looking at the south final two weeks we have:

Ridgewood - Claymont & Newcs
Indian Valley - Tusky Valley & Claymont
Garaway - Newcomerstown & Tusky Valley
Tusky Valley - Indian Valley & Garaway

Pretty much looks like only Tusky Valley can stop the league from a 3-way tie. Any chance of that happening?

Could it possibly be broken this season?

Remaining schedule-vs Newcomerstown,@Tusky Valley

Indian Valley(7-1) currently 2nd in D4 R15
Remaining schedule- vs Tusky,@Claymont

6 teams with a really good chance to get it, that’s really awesome! My stangs struggling this year has been tough but seeing success in the rest of the league is good.

Adding Cambridge doesn’t really make sense geographically, they’re nearly an hour away from every team in the south or more. HC makes the most sense IMO.

The most sense is for the league to essentially split into two leagues

Small league - East Canton, TCC, Strasburg, Buckeye Trail, Newcomerstown, Conotton Valley & Malvern

Big league - Indian Valley, Claymont, Ridgewood Garaway, Tusky Valley, Hiland,& then add Fairless and Tuslaw in all sports.

At that point Sandy Valley can decide if they want to be with their 1/3rd of their size "rivals" or if they want to be the 9th team (8th football) in a pretty balanced, competitive league.

Would've loved to been a fly on the wall at the recent AD meeting. I wonder how many schools are 100% satisfied with the future setup. From what I hear it's basically big school/small school in all sports with the exception of Sandy Valley sticking in the small school in everything but football.

Anyone know when the principals meet to make it official?

An hour shouldn't bother any of the south teams, it's only an hour and the cost isn't an issue. being facetious

Maybe I'm wrong but aren't they the one who officially will decide if the league realigns? If so, I guess I'm asking if they voted to realign the league and switch Sandy and Newcs. and if there was any movement on adding any teams.

Yes - Damage, they have the final word.

Nothing concrete other than deciding a new commissioner.

The heavy word is Sandy Valley and Newcomerstown WILL change divisions, along with Conotton Valley coming back into the league for football in 2020 - going to the small school division in football.

Harrison Central is heavily rumored to join the IVC in 2020 - going to the big school division in football.

Now, this would would make 2 - 7 team divisions - based on enrollment - for football - starting in 2020.

More to come....

I was told today that there was a secret meeting with sv, canton south, triway, and 2 other schools about starting a new leauge. Vary reliable source directly associated with one of the athletic directors of said schools.

Sandy doesn't want to make the move to the big side, they like where they are at for the travel purposes. It doesn't matter how much we all say they belong here or other teams belong on this side of the league. Sv wants to stay where they are and yes NCT wanted to be where they are for travel purposes aswell. If Sandy wants out, all we can say is good luck! I don't think adding Connotton Valley again is a good move as they bring nothing to the table. The league needs to look at strong competition across the board all sports not just football. Does Trail really want out already? Maybe adding Harrison Central, Cambridge, Coshocton or River View would be good moves maybe even West Holmes if they were interested. I don't mind the big school/small setup, it just a little harder with the small side to put together a solid league.

As I said before, if majority of principals vote for realignment, so be it. League can't be held hostage by one school wanting to beat up on division 7 schools in the "small school" or for "travel purposes." If Sandy leaves, that's their right I suppose.

Talking a little football: If TCC wins week 10 and makes the playoffs, their coach deserves "Coach of the Year" in the conference. Who on earth thought they would first beat Trail and then Malvern????
