That’s the quick reply feature. Trey, you wanted a 280 lbs SG, you’ve got zero credibility

He's the best shooter in the grade and he wasn't nearly that big when they gave up on him for defensive specialists 2 years ago.

And I'm know I'll get killed for this too, but I bet the freshman would give varsity a game.

According to the box, Royer, Keys, Kandra and Holmes did not take a single shot. That cant be right but maybe it is. Imagine not even a stick back or tap?

What is Moeller going to do to this team Friday?

Next years lineup should look like this if they want the best players out there:
1-Cluxton Sr, Walker Jr, Keller So
2-Keehan Jr, Luebbe Sr, j. Byrne Sr, Miller Jr
3- Harp So, Merz Sr, Domenicone Sr, Ramsey So
4- Nieman Jr, Keyes Sr, Ramstetter Jr, Kirch/Busam So
5- Royer Sr, Larkins Jr, Link Jr

Harp and Keehan need to start next year imo if they want the best scorers out there. Luebbe would be better suited to be the 6th man combo guard type to come in help on defense. Merz is a guy who is surely capable of starting, but not over harp. They can maybe put him at PF and play small ball but he is only 6' tall. I would rather have a 6'6 athletic Nieman starting there.

I have real doubts about them putting together the best team. There’s more than a few Jrs that shouldn’t make it next Yr but I’m not sure they have the heart to cut them.

1. Cluxton, Keller, Walker
2. Agree
3. Harp, Ramsey, Merz (Harp doesn't have to strictly play the 2 to get shots)
4. Agree
5. They really don't use a 5. The four 4s mentioned would work for both spots

This would be a 14-6 type team, with the potential to win every night, and surprise in the tournament. The year after, they'd be stacked and prepared and ready to make real noise.

Larkins is a stretch 4, too good of a rebounder, shot blocker / changer and inside scorer to not start over Ramstaetter, Kirch and Busam.

Royer, Keys and Kandra could all opt to focus football especially after this season.

I still think Royer, Lubbe, and Keyes should be on the team. They can all contribute and provide depth.

Agreed. I would put him in the rotation of 5 kids that can play the 4 and 5 roles.

You would already have 15 players who wont all play as much as they should. Cant have 18.

Also, Im not sure those three all want to play anyway.

We all want Elder to win, but I don’t appreciate the sanctimonious attitudes. Being a sycophant doesn’t make you a better fan.

That's a tough stretch. The Panthers always get hyped for OH, maybe they can pull that one out, but OH has been playing very well before they got blitzed last night at East.

Does Elder archive and share/save its game broadcasts? Wondering if I can watch tonight's game later?

Yes, I'm well aware I probably wont want to

Freshman

Elder up big on Moe after one 19-4. Pressure has been relentless.

Sloppy 2nd quarter for Elder. 24-12 at half

37-20 near the end of the 3rd. Keller & Harp...Harp and Keller.

Elder up 50-30 when they empty the bench. Nice win.

JV wins 65-46. Worth noting, Moes 2 best Sophs are strictly dressed for Varsity.

21-18 Moe at half. E doing a good job uglying up the game, feels like Moe kind of captured momentum at the end of the half.

50-39 Moe final. Es Offense couldnt do enough to hold off Moeller. Still, I think this is a far better outcome than all of us expected.
