LOL. No. Only kids from Findlay get stuff like that.

Good luck to Hayden and all the Little Giants this season. GO ROSS!

I predicted Ross to be in the playoffs in the D2/R6 thread, so I'm expecting a big season from them. Good luck!

Year of the QB in the TRAC.

Whitmer returns Riley Keller (TRAC POY), Ross returns Lehman (TRAC 1st Team), Findlay returns Rickle (TRAC 2nd Team), SJ returns Lichtenberg, and CCHS returns Durden. Clay returns Wamer but he unfortunately hurt his knee and will miss the entire season. SF convinced their talented point guard, Jakiel Wells to return to the grid iron for his senior season as well.

Lehman has a rocket arm. I watched him chuck a ball 60 yards flat footed.

Yeah, very unfortunate. Am told it occured playing AAU basketball in Cbus. Am also told he will miss basketball season as well which is his 1st love. I would not wish a situation like that upon my worst enemy let alone a good kid.

Clay will have a freshman signal caller this fall in his place (Heintschel). This will be three straight years that the TRAC will have a freshman starting at QB which was unheard of even 10 years ago, especially in a league the size of the TRAC.

Avon lost a senior all-state caliber TE, who also was the star basketball player, in Week 2 of the football season last year and his injury ended his HS sports career. Always feel sad for those kids, the Clay kid included.

You see freshmen, though not usually at QB, on many varsity football teams now. Even the big schools, since roster numbers are relatively low at most schools compared the glory days in Ohio. Many schools, even big schools, can barely field a freshman team...or don't field one at all...anymore.

Heintschel? As in Ed? If so, is he staying all 4 years?

Lots of Heintschels on the Eastside. We spray but they're hard to discourage. Ed was on Euclid, if I recall facts right. Didn't know him though. There were a couple at Clay. Seem to recall maybe a Principal? I thought they were cousins. IB? Which ones?

As in Eric. Dad was a Clay grad and former board of education president. Principal's kid who played baseball at Michigan. The freshman has good size (6'/6'1 - 165/170). Tough league to be a starting QB as a frosh.

All Heintschel's are related somehow? I hear they all get together at the German American Festival and wear lederhosen and arm wrestle.
