Trump Favorability at 50% and Climbing

http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/ar...ses-poll-shows

Bloomberg, which at best has been lukewarm toward Trump, ran a poll with a series of questions about Trump. One of the questions was view of Trump now, and it is up to 50% favorable, which is a number many said he could never reach. He will likely exceed it early in his term, as the American people generally rally behind a new POTUS and give them the benefit of the doubt. I have no idea what he will do, but he already doesn't seem like a POTUS who is willing to wait around for things to happen. It seems he is going to try to spur things to happen. It will be fascinating to watch, because if he is successful he might just very well re-write the definition of politics and government in this nation. He is an elite and a business world insider, with many dealings with politicos during his time, BUT he is a true outsider in DC and is not a professional politician. Might have to go back to Ike for the last POTUS who was not a trained politician, though Ike certainly had a military job that exposed him deeply to the political world.

Frankly this is amazing especially considering that the media is still doing a hatchet job on Trump EVERY day!

And if Trump keeps creating JOBS, he may be pushing 60% before to long!

He does a pretty decent job of trying to destroy his own influence but that's besides the question. It sells. It sells to those of like mind, it sells to those opposed. Non-controversy, doesn't sell. It's not journalism anymore than any of the pundits are journalists. Theyre in the entertainment business.

Seems rather obvious as I look at it. WE ALWAYS THOUGHT YOU COULD NOT WIN A BATTLE AGAINST THOSE WHO BOUGHT INK BY THE BARREL. At least that is what Mark Twain believed and evidence bore out time after time that to pick a fight with the press meant doom for any politician.

Now Trump arrives on stage and a media who believes they control who America will select by the mere indorsement of their favorite candidate proves them wrong. He not only survives their backing of the other candidate, he attacks them and his ratings go Up!

Then the total bomb explodes on the media when they realize Trump has figured out he can get his own message out to the masses using social media. That one hurt the most, it places media elites in a tenuous position of unneeded in political discussions, and will undoubtedly lead to a further decline of media related jobs. Hitting them in their pocket is the surest way to make enemies, not to mention the personal embarrassment he brought to their fragile egos.

In addition to the reasons sited above, Trump is a PC fanatics worst nightmare. The man is a living, breathing, walking, talking & tweeting destroyer of ALL things politically correct. Much of the media infrastructure, from reporters to news readers to editors to producers, has been educated in the smothering bosom of PC. They actually believe in the PC nonsense that has been drilled into their heads. Hell, half of the modern media are full blown Social Justice Warriors! To them Trump is the anti-christ!

Oh please. Did it ever occur to you guys on the left that you throw around words like "bigot" & "racist" so much they no longer have any meaning. Not to long ago simply charging someone with "bigotry" or "racism" was enough to destroy their professional life. Not anymore.

Some views are not to be tolerated, and I make no apology for that. That's not bigotry. That's standing up to people who must to be stopped.

In contrast to the weak statements from Democratic "leadership" about giving these monsters "a chance", I have absolutely zero interest in giving any quarter.

There are just as many bigots and racist who voted for Hillary. Trump isn't a bigot, racist or sexist. He employs plenty of blacks or other races. He employs plenty of women. He likes women like 97% of all males. He isn't a bigot because he is actually interviewing people who disagree with him on some issues. I know you guys like to use those terms to shut down real conversations. But it is overplayed and it just simply don't work anymore.

I think the incredible rise in the stock market since the election may play a role in the uptick of Trump's favorabilty ratinngs.

I'm not "accepting" anything. I will be doing everything that I can to contribute to protesting, stalling, thwarting, whatever, Trump's four years (or less) of being President.
Gonna be a long 4 years. Best of luck.

Nonsense.

I'll say it again : MississippiMud2002 is a bigot, a racist, and a sexist. I'll say it as many times as I need to.

You can try to deflect, wriggle, go off on tangents about Uncle Ted, move the goalposts, try to redefine words, or whatever else you want to do, but I am completely unmoved.

....
big·ot
ˈbiɡət/
noun
noun: bigot; plural noun: bigots
1. a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.

Uncle Ted nailed it with this photo. This is real bigotry. You can talk in circles all you want about the freedom of speech but what these people are doing is showing bigotry and practicing anarchy because they don’t agree with who was elected as our next President. They are showing gross intolerance towards the people who voted for Trump and in several cases using violence.

As for Trump, you show me what he’s done to be labeled a bigot. He’s a strong willed person who believes in himself. But people like you throw the word bigot around and yet you never show any concrete evidence on how Trump is a bigot.

rac·ist
ˈrāsəst/
noun
noun: racist; plural noun: racists
1. 1.
a person who believes that a particular race is superior to another.

Again you throw that word out there but I have never seen people like you back up the charge. Many of Trump’s comments about the Muslims, Mexicans and “ILLEGAL” Immigrants were right on and it was nice to finally see a political figure call a spade a spade. But a lot of his comments were also plastered all over by MSM and taken out of the context for which they were stated. So I challenge you to show me actual actions that Trump has taken that proves he’s a racist. Just throwing the word out there doesn’t mean it’s true.

sex·ism
sekˌsizəm/ noun
sexism
1. prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination, typically against women, on the basis of sex.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/what-wom...say-about-him/

I think I’ll take the word of women who’ve worked for him over your accusations.

Quote:
She said she interacted with him regularly and recalled a night when she needed to be at a function for one of her children and asked Trump for permission to arrive the following morning for a key meeting, instead of traveling the night before. She said she appreciated that he had no problem with that.
Quote:
Alexis Poe Feder, 41, says she was hired at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City right out of college in 1997 and “felt very empowered when I worked there.”
And this link is from one of the major networks who love to rip on Trump. The one common thing you see is that he does like beautiful women. He apparently appreciates having beautiful women around. But let’s be honest here. He’s in the hotel business and part of the success he’s had “Is The Image!” I would say that’s more of a societal issue than Trump being a sexist issue.

http://dailycaller.com/2015/08/17/at...an-male-video/

Quote:
“And women who are similarly situated in positions similar to that of their male counterparts, are actually paid more,” Cohen said...

“I can prove it,” Cohen answered, adding later that he would allow Cuomo to take a look at the company’s financials as long as he signed a non-disclosure agreement.
“For example, in senior accounting, the male is in the $70,000 range and the female is slightly greater than that,” Cohen said. “In the area of even the legal department where the assistant general counsel makes $25,000 more than her male counterpart.”
Again, you show me where he’s a sexist in the negative manner that MSM and people like you paint him and beyond the tape that was published. Besides, it is locker room talk and any athlete, especially pro athlete, that states they don’t hear talk like that in the locker room are not being honest.

If Trump is showing any prejudice with women it’s because he appreciates beauty and is not shy about expressing his feelings about beautiful women.

As for stereotyping, I’d say that his hiring and promoting blondes goes against the “blonde joke” stereotyping you see from many people.

As for discrimination, maybe you could argue that he discriminates against ugly women but there are a lot of people that discriminate against less attractive people every day but I don’t see your outrage about all of that discrimination.

You’re just blowing smoke because you don’t like Trump. He definitely can be abrasive but the man has a strong personality and he is already making changes to help America’s economy. I say the American public does need to give him a chance. The Far Left doesn’t want to give him a chance because they fear he’s actually going to succeed at rescuing America’s economy and their position internationally.
