Don't care if she's mad. She is running struthers athletics into the ground.

As struthers sports are on the rise, she was just on the train for the ride instead of doing her job

The struthers - Campbell game is officially on for 2017. Nice.

Niles has some good players back.
QB: Soda
RB: Savin
WR/CB: Day
DL: Whittenberger
Unfortunately, as long as Shaner is there, their defense will probably struggle.
Is Shaner still there?

Meh... i'm a little disappointed.
And I think it sets a bad precedent. This whole fiasco is ridiculous.

Shaner is still there...
Savin and Whittenberger are studs...
Aside from them though Niles will struggle....
They lose a ton of tuffness, athletisim, and leadership
Could be looking at another 2-3 win season

Just because she wasn't going to find a game doesn't mean that there weren't games to be found.
There were better opponents out there. Ones who actually want to play us.

The only team that was better for us woulda been mooney, and the town is virtually split on wanting to play them and not wanting to play them for whatever reasons people have. I would rather play Campbell then not have a game.

AAC reminded them that 2/3 vote would have them removed from the league lololololol barring something unforeseen, AAC asked it be played once more.

My only information is that the Campbell BOE debated this issue and decided to have one more game between the two schools in 2017. It has nothing to do with the AAC making threats to remove Campbell from the league. As a longtime Campbell fan and witness to many games of this great rivalry I believe it's time for both Campbell and Struthers to move on. The rivalry was one of the best in the area for decades. But circumstances have changed from the glory days of the rivalry to where it is today. The games over the past four seasons have not been competitive. The old-timers who grew up on this rivalry should have attended the games over the past four seasons. Their view on things might have changed. Struthers has a much larger pool of kids to choose from. That being said the Struthers AD should have had a contingency plan in place. I suggest she starts looking for a new 2018 opponent asap. The Campbell AD has already done that for his school.

Big dean I was not kidding. It wasn't a threat more like a reminder...if you don't like the league so much you could always not be in it. Remember Campbell bolted for ITCL for a minute. I agree on all your points. Why we fought so hard for this I don't know. I do know that Nancy told the media she couldn't find a game so maybe that is it. I do know our big buddy really pushed hard for this behind scenes. There's a lot of moving parts. I know there were some concessions made on our part to make this happen at least once more.

No way they get the 2/3 vote to remove campbell from the league...the lower tier would cease to exist without them. Of course you could always move lakeview down because they love playing smaller schools and dont have as much success against schools in their own division.

Maybe the AAC was sour on Campbell anyways for trying to leave last year. And nice jab at Lakeview. True though. Even in the tac days.

Not a big fan...i have some respect for what they do but they have their hands all in this AAC mess. Currently they play 4 crossover games (Liberty, Champion, Campbell and LaBrae)...although maybe it was mentioned that Campbell was able to drop them, in which case I would look to Liberty and LaBrae following suit. They are 6-2 in those games since AAC realigned which includes 1-1 against LaBrae the only playoff team out of the four the past two seasons.
They are also 7-6 against everyone else on their schedule which includes schools in their division or higher (which includes a loss at Crestwood in playoffs in 2015). Sounds like they might be hiding something...lets see how they do when they have to fill those "crossover" games with some other programs

Nancy, call Hubbard, everyone over there wants your Canfield game very badly. They're even willing to give you Girard, which really fits more in with your schedule.

Legal issues will probably keep him off the field this season.

Stop acting like Hubbard wants to play Canfield or anyone at all. They have a long history of not scheduling anyone OOC.
Besides that doesn't work out with the way the schedules are set up and don't you want to see your new QB against his old team?? Should be a blast. Watch out for the Girard kids though I don't think they'll take kindly to him leaving.

Paladin claims victory every year over Canfield in a scrimmage if that counts.
