Too early to tell. I'd say unlikely.

That would be great, but he's done that for every school he's considering as coaches make in-home visits.

James Quick, soon to be 5th year senior, and Tyler Gerald, who just redshirted his first year on campus, have left the program.

I think you mean James Clark. I don't see anything on Tyler Gerald but it would not surprise me to see him at UC next fall.

A couple interesting notes on the depth chart heading into the spring:
- Who separates among the various WRs/H Backs should be interesting. Binjimen Victor looks to be the new primary target as tOSU moves to a taller WR group. Also look for a battle between Demario McCall and Eric Glover-Williams for the key H-Back spot.
- Dante Booker slides over to the #1 at the Mike LB spot, Baron Browning and Turf Boland will battle for primary back up. Former huge recruit Justin Hilliard is now buried at the 3rd spot on the Will side. He is another recruit that could be on transfer watch to UC.
- AT CB there are some who think that a true Frosh could be #1 on the depth chart coming out of spring ball. Denzel Ward is locked in as the #1 at one CB spot but Jeffrey Okudah and Shaun Wade could be battling to be the starter day 1 at the other.

I think Clark is expected to graduate this spring so he may be able to transfer and play immediately, if he wanted

How about Sheffield for one of those corner spots? I would think he would have an advantage with a little JUCO experience.

Mack will join Victor at the WR slots, I believe, and when Grimes is healed...he will be a factor. Also, don't sleep on KJ Hill at h-back and in the slot.
Was told by a DB who faced Ohio State last season that JT was not the problem, but that the WR's were not capable of getting any separation (as has been speculated by many)...and that Noah Brown was just a glorified TE. Hopefully, with tall, fast WR's on the edge and Wilson as OC, that JT will have a great final season at OSU.

He's probably the odds on favorite but I think they'll all play

I agree. There were many catch-able balls that hit the WR's right in the hands that they just didn't catch, particularly in the Clemson game.

I really just meant accurate that OSU is #1. We've had it really good lately, even with relatively few Big 10 Championships and the Clemson blowout loss.

Haskins seems to be a capable backup as well, luckily.

The depth chart was issued today, only real surprise it seems is that JK Dobbins is listed with Mike Weber as potential starter ("OR" as the #1 rather than just listed as the #2).
Justin Hilliard not making the 2-deep... continues to really not do much after recovering from the injury.

Word is that Hilliard is just too slow to fit into the tOSU LB system. He might be better served to transfer to UC or if he wants the tOSU degree get it in 4 years and be a graduate transfer to a program in need of a run stuffing type Mike LB that comes off the field on passing downs.

That's a shame, considering he was a 5 star guy out of high school.

Offense looks exactly the same as last year. Wilson hasn't fixed Barrett.

25 yards? We'll see how the rest of the game goes but Barrett might have to seriously go.

Another receiver whiffs on a wide open ball in the end zone.

Barrett really is the master of the checkdown pass on 3rd down.
