People may want to start considering Oak Harbor around #9 or #10. Only loss to Genoa (8-0) on the road with one of key players hurt. Team is very strong defensively and dangerous on offense from where it was a few years ago.

My top 3
1. Wheelersburg
2. Madison
3. Anna

I can’t put Madison at 1. The schedule is too weak. I know they played the same schedule as last year and they ARE a great football team.

Anna, coming out of 18 seems to be a lock right now. They have proved to be a strong contender for a title.

Burg has played a fairly tough schedule and aside from that Hartley game, have played pretty well. Talked to coach on Saturday and he says they are finally firing on all cylinders. Matthews #29 is now fully healthy after being hampered by a hip issue his Freshman and sophomore year. Kid is FAST. They of course have Holden and Salyers back. The defense is just as strong as last year. With the Dline being the difference maker.

Region 20 is pretty weak aside from a Burg and Madison. I’m taking the winner of that game to go to the finals. 19 is the weakest of all regions.

In my opinion region 20 isn't week

3 state ranked teams with 4th team receiving votes and West Jefferson & CHCA are playoff teams year in year out
#2 Madison, #4 Wheelersburg, #10 Portsmouth West, **Greeneview

WJ would get rolled by Madison or Burg. Portsmouth West is too one deminsional. Youíll se that week 10 when Burg drums them.

Region 20 is by far the best this year. Burg is really good again. Madison returns pretty much everyone from a team that could have beaten Burg. I dont think it is far fetched to say they are the two best teams in the state.

But CHCA had Madison down in the 3Q last year and then had back to back turnovers inside their 20. Madison played a great game and deserved to win but let's not act like the Eagles are awful. I would take them to win region 17 or 19 this year. Greeneview should have beaten Coldwater 2 years ago. They are always a well coached team. WJ beat Mechanicsburg and is always in the playoffs. Minford isn't that great and Madeira actually sucks but there are some good teams in this region.

Division 5 is way down this year IMO but Region 20 is the toughest region by far.
