1/12/13 Larry Remmert Invitational @ Sheridan High School
Sheridan Generals defend their 2012 title from a year ago at the 40th Annual Larry Remmert Wrestling Invitational over a very strong effort by Amanda Clearcreek. Drew Stebelton was the lone champion for the Generals. Stebeltons pin of AJ Johnson (Amanda) in the finals after overcoming a knee injury sustained in the semi-final was the difference in the Generals retaining the title. This was a great team effort throughout with 12 wrestlers placing in the top four and one other placing fifth. Logan Thorpe, wrestling for the injured Loughman earned a fourth place finish. Nathan Kehn, Ethan Kehn, RJ Waugh, Deven King and Darren Scott placed second. Cayne Bennett and Zach Carpenter placed third. Also placing fourth were Jack Stevens, Logan Gordan and Cord Cardi. Cristian Baughman finished in fifth place at 152. This victory completed a very successful undefeated two-week stretch for the team.
