Kyle Ott was awesome tonight showing some slick stuff off of his head inside single. He is still fast as lightning. Tuesday it's Ty Morgan, Wednesday is Cameron Doggett, and Thursday is Dave Clemens. All of this knowledge for $40! Over 50 wrestlers took advantage of this deal tonight.
Ty Morgan did a super job tonight with simple ways to turn defense into offense. One camper asked "what do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment in wrestling?" He told about how his sophomore year he had a horrible case of the flu and lost in the semis at state derailing his goal of becoming a 4-timer. He then refocused and came back to place third. He said this experience taught him a valuable lesson in how to overcome adversity. It was very inspiring to hear him tell it and the campers, regardless of age, really understood his message.
Another good night with 50+ in the room!
Wednesday night = Cameron Doggett with bottom wrestling.
Coach Doggett was tough on the bottom. He kept it real basic and when the live wrestling started, it was cool to see the wrestlers using what he had just taught! He has an up and coming team over there at Kenton Ridge and is an excellent young coach. Thanks for sharing your knowledge tonight Cameron.
Dave Clemens was on fire tonight in the Butler Wrestling Room. He pulled out all the stops with several of his funky tilts. The wrestlers loved his stuff and were attempting to use it in the live goes.
Once again, a big thank you to Kyle Ott, Ty Morgan, Cam Doggett, and Dave Clemens for passing on their love for wrestling to the campers. We had over 60 who attended and worked their tails off to get better! We will do it again next year for sure.

Ty is a great role model..............if you can get your wrestlers around him they will always be better off for it. On or off the mat!
