I know spiess has won a junior high state title but I have watched Coffey and spiess workout together and in all honesty Coffey beats him nearly every time. And Coffey did beat Ulinski last year at districts, maybe he should be #1 at this weight. Spiess will improve with the delta coaches and wrestlers but I can not see him beating Coffey.

i would like to see coffee beat spiess! where did u see that at?? did you see keller from delta dismantle coffee last year? it was a tech fall pin in about all there matches last year..keller cant do that with spiess! just saying...coffee got drilled by a ayersville boy last year in the placement match at state..but your intitled to speak your mind, anyways have a good day fellas!!!
Spiess is a great wrestler, but he will need to step up to be able to beat Ulinski, if he makes weight, and Coffey. He will need to put on 20 pounds and some muscle to compete with the 106 pounders in high school. 2 years ago Spiess beat Coffey up, that won't happen again. Two years is a big difference and Coffey has been wrestling against some very big and tough competition for the past two years not junior high kids. He is not the same wrestler he was 2 years ago. Ulinski split with Keller over the years, and I really don't think Spiess has much for Keller. Keller is way to big for Spiess. In a real match I would expect Keller to TF Spiess. Advantage for Spiess if Keller isn't too big for him, he will get to wrestle Keller ever day in the room.

Whats Keller way too big have to do with anything...........There is a big difference in the skill set between these two.........Spiess will do fine this year....have watched him for years.........If anyone gives an advantage to Spiess it would by Delta's coaches.........That program is building up nicely....
Keller vs Spiess is irrelevant now because Keller is obviously bigger, I think Spiess's skill set is better than keller's was as a freshmen, Delta should be a top 5 team this year!
Many people here will disregard this as being irrelevant but this year at the clay freestyle and greco tournament Coffey beat spiess in greco pretty handedly. Coffey was a very small 106 last year which contributed to how Keller was able to beat him the way he did. He cut no weight and naturally weighted under 106. I can't wait to see these to wrestle this year (spiess and Coffey) because I really believe Coffey will get the best of him. We'll see what happens in a couple of months.
I think Dakota Mays is better than what people think. Could easily win a state title. Has the most credentials out of anyone in the weight and was wrestling injured at the state tournament.
While the education may be comparable, Blair is east coast and thusly has connections with some of the older and more exclusive colleges out there. It is also probably more well known nationally. Take that and the wrestling without trading down on academcs.

Daniel went to Princeton. Didn't he go to Miami Valley?
Yeah, but we could name lots of Blair wrestlers that have gone on to Ivies. I'm saying that Blair offers a lot of fringe benefits while still having similar academics.
