Akron Wrestling Club Summer Open is Saturday, June 23rd!

Mark your calendars now, the Akron Wrestling Club Summer Open is Saturday, June 23rd at Akron St. Vincent St. Mary's High School! This tournament will be a great opportunity for all serious wrestlers to get some quality off-season mat time. Age Divisions range from 5-6 year olds all the way up through high school, and there is even a "Masters" Division for high school graduates.

Not a bad turn out - My kid got 5 good matches all the kids was states placers, cant ask for anything more......

The open was good as well as the duals...got to see 2 current Ohio State Champions wrestle against one another in the duals in a match I wanted to see.....and for the kids that showed for both days that got to wrestle, especially at the duals got to wrestle state champs, runner ups and placers from Ohio as well as PA....great quality mat time...

Thanks for the positive feedback guys! Turnout wasn't huge since it was summer, but it was solid and the competition level was outstanding as only the most dedicated were there. We tried to get people in five and six man round robins whenever possible so they could get four or five matches. Here's the results through 13-14.
