To say that STA gets multiple transfers every year is laughable given that they had only one in 2008 and that was probably the best team in school history and that player was only a part-time starter.

As for this year your assumption that success is contingent on these transfers is mistaken. It's often an assumption made by people who have never seen us play and simply read criticisms on message boards to make up their minds.

The attacks on STA are sensationalist. To compare them to Oak Hill is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. That's bad even for an uninformed Ohio poster. And that's saying a lot.

OK, How many transfer starters did you accept this year? I'm almost positive it was 4.

The reason some Ohio Catholic school posters could be giving grief about transfers to STA is that it is extremely rare for a GCL team to get a transfer. A defensive starter from X transferred to Elder this decade and a qb from Moeller transferred to X earlier this decade. I could be wrong but I think X only has received 1 transfer this decade. I am not getting on STA's case about transfers since I do not know how many transfers they have but just explaining the transfer issue in relation to Ohio D1 Catholic schools. I will agree with Canes that STA would definitely beat any Ohio team this year.

I think it's 5 or 6.

Two of them are major producers for STAs offense, amongst the top 3 or 4 guys for points and yardage.

Southwest Miami transfer Lamarcus Joyner

QB transfer Turner Baty (ended up transferring to different school)??

Dillard transfer Keion Payne

Nova transfer Frederick Sutton

transfer Rashad Greene (Georgia)

Coral Springs Charter transfer Dorian Grant

This is a couple of games out of date, but you get the idea...

Statistically, Greene and Joyner are the #2 and #3 most productive receivers on the team.

Greene is the team's punt return man.

Joyner is the best kick return man.

Joyner is also the team's 3rd leading rusher.

Excluding the kicker, Greene is the #2 scorer and Joyner is tied for 3rd.

Joyner is #2 in all-purpose yards.

Greene is #4 in all-purpose yards.

I'm almost positive you couldn't tell me who they are, what position they play and if they actually start.

I can respect that. At least you're reasonable.

I don't comment on the makeup of Ohio's teams because I have no idea. I couldn't even begin to discuss the composition of the teams at X or Elder. But concha and others can somehow discuss the composition of our team.

It's amazing.

I've asked this question before and concha refused to answer it: What position does Lamarcus Joyner start at?

Turner Baty is not on the team.

Fred Sutton doesn't start. He was a DL and he was never going to see the field so they moved him to OL. He is the 6th man on the line. He plays sparingly.

Dorian Grant doesn't start. He has 7 tackles on the season. That's good enough to tie him for 19th on the team.

You can tell how clueless somebody is about Aquinas when they start crowing about Sutton and Grant being transfers. So what? They're about as good as two dozen other guys on the team.

So you have Greene (who's a Junior) and Payne (who's not even our best CB) as starters.

Joyner only has 40 rushes this season. He'd have even less if All-American Gio Bernard wasn't lost for the season after the Byrnes game.

The best players on the team in nearly every statistical category are not transfers. This information is not hard to find.

But concha is not an honest person. This is clear. Nobody else on here is qualified to even discuss this.

I got the stats I posted from an STA website.

-------.

Do you dispute them? Or are you just gonna shuck and jive?

How's the pipeline?

Thru game 12:

Joyner #2 rusher

Greene #2 receiver

Joyner #4 receiver

Greene #1 punt returner

Joyner #1 kick returner

Excluding kicker: Greene #2 scorer, Joyner #3 scorer

Joyner #3 total offense

Joyner #2 all-purpose yards

Greene #3 all-purpose yards

Now, is there some FOOL out there trying to convince people that the transfers don't matter?

Am I wrong? Please feel free to prove that I'm wrong. You can't!
