What movies did you see in November?

As a horror movie junkie, I come across a lot of off beat Horror movies as well as the run in the mill straight to video. I will share my thoughts of the ones that I see this month and edit them in here. So, if you seen a movie new or old and want to share your thoughts go ahead, and if its horror, even better!!!!

I will edit in my horror views here with my rating scale.....

8 = Donnie Darko
7 = Excellent !!!!!
6 = Great
5 = pretty Good
4 = OK/Good
3 = not good
2 = Bad
1 = Unwatchable

Best of October:
... Saw 6 - 6.0
... Quarantine - 5.0
... Dead Girl - 5.0

#1664 UNDERWORLD 3: RISE OF THE LYCANS (2009) ... Good story but laughable effects in this preqel to Underworld...... 4.0

#1665 FURNACE (2006) ... An evil furnace and ghost of a young girl haunts this non sense, lol....... 3.0

#1666 PANGA (South Africa - 1991) ... A group of Americans have a curse placed on then when they stop an African Ceremony where a goat would be sacrificed. Not to bad, ... 4.0

#1667 THE HAPPENING (2008) ... A small group of people try to survive during strange events that hit the northeast. I had no expectations for this as I have been disappointed several times by this writer/director......the script was pretty bad but the movie was interesting............ 4.5

#1668 ASYLUM (2008) ... 6 college kids learn that their dorm used to be an asylum that is now possessed by a deranged doctor.... boring at times..... 3.5

#1669 THE HAUNTING OF MOLLY HARTLEY (2008) ... this movie is hated by many, so no expectations here.....it wasn't that bad but faltered as time went on....A 17 year old girl Molly heads to a new private school after her mother tries to kill her, she soon starts to hear and see images............................3.0

#1670 TOKYO ZONBI (Japan-2005) ... AKA Tokyo Zombie ... 2 misfits that practice Jujitsu, one with an afro the other balding, try to escape zombies in Tokyo....when Tokyo dies, a refuge for the wealthy is built and the poor survivors of the Zombie invasion becomes their slaves for entertainment..... Tokyo Zombie started out great for about the first 10 minutes but sadly was nearly unwatchable from their on until the last minute....just not my type of humor, called the Japanese Shaun of the Dead, I just don't see it....not at all........... 2.0

#1671 DANIKA (2006) ... Danika is a mother of 3 children but she has a problem with sanity, she is hallucinating and this is causing problems with her kids and marriage. Are these visions real and what do they mean...... 5.5

#xxxx HALLOWEEN (2007) ... Rob Zombie remake. Watched this again after first seeing it when it came out at the theater. Zombie adds his own Michael Meyer background that leads to the brutal murders.......6.0

#1672 POOR PRETTY EDDIE (1975) ... 70's exploitation film about a Jazz singer named Liz whose car breaks down in the South where she runs into a psychopath elvis impersonator. Exploitation films aren't for everyone but here is a small clip to get the feel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjQ3W...om=PL&index=83 ............ 5.0

#1673 NAKED FEAR (2007) ... A man kidnaps a dancer, strips her and releases her in the New Mexico wilderness to hunt her down. This was a pretty good movie except for one part that did not make sense and the pathetic attempt of the ending.....I should of turned it off 5 minutes before it ended.....anyhow, decent flick..... 4.0

#1674 BAGHEAD .... a group of actors/actresses head to the mountains to work on a script only to be stalked by a man with a bag over his head. Very low budget and rather boring, even I guessed the twist which means it was pretty obvious........ 2.5

Funny People- 5/8

Plenty of good jokes but a little too long and a somewhat anti-climatic ending.

That's a surprising rating. It wasn't one of my favorite Pixar movies but I still gave it about a 6/8.

I thought there were some great jokes the first half of the movie but it went downhill fast toward the end. The last 30 minutes or so were really tough to watch for me.
