Fairmont doesnt suck they were just totally overated and overhyped that there was no way they could meet tose expectations that most people had for them. At regionals they showed who they really are.

I'd say were a young fish in a big pond. our program is growing. 5th at reagonals- for us - is nothing to be ashamed of. We did not meet our goal of top 4, but we still believe the season was a big step in the right direction.
If we had gotten 11th... we would have hung our heads, shut up, and died.

If cashmoney is who I think he is, he made state. So I'm pretty sure he made his goal (unless he wants x place at state). He can't run for his teammates.
Also, I have to agree with him on Oak Hills and the progress they have made. When was the last time they finished 5th at regionals?

ok well our 11th place at regional does not show who we are. we beat centerville 4 of 6 races this year, centerville finished 7th. we have gone 1-1 against lakota west during regular season. they got 6th. if our 3rd runner wasn't sick on saturday we very well could have gotten 7th. we just don't have depth.

If you are bragging about beating a mediocre Cville team and a Lakota team that didn't make the state meet, you are setting your standards too low.

The sick thing is no excuse oak hills didnt have their third runner from last years race at regionals or their 5th because they were both sick. Every team has some people who are sick and if u really want to use that as an excuse ur soft.

Hey guys lets just chill out, because all is well now that the best team in the state (historically) is back upstate. And yes I'm speaking of my beloved Elder Panthers. So let's all just get along, is that too much to ask?
I hope that Elder does finish as high as 8th on Saturday. If they do and are the 4th team from our Region it will prove to be one heck of a year for SW Ohio.

Clayton Cardinal, LaSalle's 6th/7th. It wouldn't have mattered at that meet for LaSalle, however he finished ahead of Oak Hills' 6th and Lakota West's 5th, I believe, so it would have mattered for those two.

assignments, LaSalle's Clayton Cardinal is not listed
as being in the state final. This could be from an illness
and not from the DQ last weekend, not sure.

Was Berling out the entire year? He would have secured that top 4 up a little closer in my opinion.
He could have ran at GCLs (probably open race) but I heard one ofthe coaches said no. They probably wanted to have him 1000% healthy so he can get have a good winter for track. Not sure if he ran district open though.

It's because LaSalle's regular 6th or 7th was out last week with an illness, and now that he is returned, Cardinal is no longer running on varsity.
