Just an observation, but looks like Elder will struggle passing even more this year than last year. Last year, Gay could pass as an outside, but neither of the outsides can dig very well this year
Perhaps Elder is going to hope a big block will help out with digging problems. I think serve receive is what most teams are more concerned with, though?
Elder's block will be massive though. Having Harp, Lucas, and Zurieck up there. They will have the biggest team that I can ever remember seeing in high school volleyball
Elder is the offense and Moeller is the defense. Interesting to see how that will play out, but I like a defensive moe over an offensive elder. At the end of a season it's the defense that wins.
Ill take Elder as State Champions next year, dropping two matches all year, one to Mt Vernon in the Centerville Elite and one to Moe at Moe in the regular season.
MOELLER
Setter - Probably both Marshal Luning and Landen Hunter, this way Landen can hit since he's the most experience hitter coming back
Middles - John Abeln, probably Joe Trame?
Outside Hitters - Tucker Skove and Kyle Neuville
Libero - A.J. Eckhoff
Not sure where Connor White would fall into the mix, he could be libero but idk who exactly he would D.S. for

He could serve for one of the middles and play until the next middle serves, essentially splitting time with Eckhoff, but I don't really know.

How's that for a bold prediction
I say they drop two matches this year as well (maybe three). I agree with the Mt Vernon. I think that the first game @ X/Moe (i cant decide on which) they will drop. And the possible third..........
It's true that the East always seems to lose less, but still not come out on top. Maybe this year will be different? Tough to say until the season starts...
