Article: Norwood Indians defeat Goshen Warriors 21-3
The Norwood Indians won their 3 straight road victory friday over the Goshen Warriors 21-3 in a SBAAC match-up with a stingy defense. All 3 road wins for the Norwood Indians were the home teams homecoming. The first team to strike first on the scoreboard was the Norwood Indians with a TD Gabe Rice also had 25 yard TD run during the game. Goshen's only points were from a field goal with 1.6 seconds left before halftime Norwood 7 and Goshen 3. During that 2nd Quarter Norwoods Jared Peters WR and Punt returner ran a punt back to only be called back for a hold. But that didn't stop in him in the second half to get a throw right down the middle of the field from QB Andrew Conover for a touchdown. Norwood's stingy defense has allowed a total of 61 points in 7 games this year. They improved their record to 6-1(3-0) and their only loss was to CHL member Mariemont Warriors 15-12. The Indians travel to Blanchester(4-3) next friday and then come back to Norwood to host Williamsburg (2-5) and undefeated Western Brown Bronoco's (7-0) for the SBAAC-American division title .
