138 meeks stays undefeated at 168-0
126 gulibon vs clark were both 4 timers

"138 meeks stays undefeated at 168-0"

The result shouldn't be part of his official record.

Steve: 168-0 was the mark for his four years of HS wrestling, not including this match.

DiCamillo wrestled an excellent back half of the match in earning the win, 10-5, in a No. 1 over No. 2 result.

Gulibon was the most impressive PA wrestler ... Tsirtsis and Rogers most impressive from a USA standpoint.

Interestingly, the back three wrestlers for PA will be playing football in college (Hills, Rizzo, and Robinson).

"Steve: 168-0 was the mark for his four years of HS wrestling, not including this match."

And would remain 168-0 whether he won or lost the match, or are you saying different?

USA up 20-17-1 is what I have seen.

Thanks steve!

Steve: the program listed him at 168-0. For purposes of IAHSAA annals, he would have been undefeated win or lose. From a broader reporting sense, it would be something like - career undefeated but lost in Dapper Dan.

Yes, yes. The record IS IRRELEVANT. The point was it wouldn't change, whatever it was, based on this exhibition.

We've seen losses that didn't count. Wasn't there two or three Michigan undefeateds who lost to Ohio wrestlers (McIntyre, Schlatter, and maybe Flake) at senior nationals. That is if my memory is accurate.

Yes Metcalf lost to Schlatter at Senior Nationals and Justin Zeerip lost to Sponseller.

I thought Simmons was undefeated in four years. Not sure about Churella. Maybe they were just four-timers but not "spotless".
