I have this slight idea that lion athlete is a Gators fan.....

However, I'll bite, even though it's still pretty early to predict stuff like this for next season.....

Ohio State: 11-1, with a loss to either USC or Penn State, though most likely it'll be USC. I just don't see this team going undefeated and into another national title game next year with all of the top defensive players and Beanie Wells going into the draft.

That Penn St. game should be real exciting. Pryor was devastated after the loss this past season, and he gets a chance at redemption in what will be his first game back in his home state of PA. The crowd will certainly be hostile, and Pryor is the type of player that feeds off that kind of stuff.

I would be estatic with 7-6 for UM. Going to come down to whether Tate is ready for the big time. I am thinking 2010 is the year for them.

The year to do what? Have a winning record? Beat OSU? Win the Big 10? Win it all? Only one of those has a good chance of happening.

I'd say 2011 is when they become an elite national program as far as record is concerned.

Recruiting must continue to be issue one if Michigan is to return to elite status.

Ohio

Their conference schedule isn't out yet, but their non-con schedule is released and we know they'll play everyone in the MAC east. I'm guessing they'll play Northern Illinois and will travel to Ball State. Bobcats return a ton of experienced players, especially on offense.

UConn: toss up, Cats are hosting, move-in weekend, will have a rabid crowd. I think OU will pull it off. W

Notre Dame: 11-1 regular season

I agree. Their schedule is pathetic. The only game i can see them being a dog in is the game vs. USC at home. Even in that game, they will probably not be a double digit dog, so an upset is possible. Notre Dame is definitely a darkhorse national title contender due to the abundance of skill returning and a very posh schedule.

I agree 11-1 is definately feasible considering their schedule.

Why can't Pryor win the Heisman? Troy Smith won one after years of development. As long as OSU stays in the top 5 and he plays big in big games, he'll be a legit contender for years to come.

Why is OU playing Miami so early in the season? This is not right, it's always best when the Bobcats finish the season with a beatdown of the RedHawks.

I think UC pulls anywhere from 8-10 wins this season. The most concerning games to me are Oregon State, WVU and Pitt. As others have said, if the defense gels and we get some breaks, we could be headed back to the Orange Bowl.

Well since everyone has projected UC I'll go with my #2 favorite team (at least to follow)

Navy- 8-5 (losses to Ohio State, Pitt, ND, Wake Forest and Air Force)

But I will admit I'm not exactly sure who all is coming back for Navy. I just know they're losing Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada at QB... Big time loss for Ken Niumatalolo and staff

Why is OU playing Miami so early in the season? This is not right, it's always best when the Bobcats finish the season with a beatdown of the RedHawks.

Miami is playing at Ohio on October 17, which will be Ohio's homecoming game. The last four years, the Ohio-Miami game has been the last game of the regular season. I've was at two of those games and saw the others on TV, and none of those games had more than 12,000 people there. The two games that were at Miami were played the day after Thanksgiving and the two at OU were played after most students had left Athens for winter break (OU is on a quarter system). Playing your biggest rival when no one is there is not right. I graduated from OU this past November and never saw a home game against Miami in the middle of the season. The students who were a little more casual than me have never had the chance to develop bad blood for Miami in football, which somewhat weakens the rivalry. Having Miami as OU's homecoming opponent might result in a standing room only crowd at Peden. When OU hosts Miami in basketball, the game is typically a heated affair with a big crowd. It's time for that to carry over into football.

UC----will go 10-3 and have another shot at the conference title.

UM---will go 9-4 this season and build for a run at the Big Ten title in 2010!

I have both teams winning a bowl game.
