What do you guys think of the so called "Clausen Effect"? there has been alot of talk about Clausen being very active with the top players nationally and having an effect of the top players following him every where he goes. I honestly always hear about this but many believe that it is actually forreal with Clausen. We have never had a recruit with as much hype as Clausen.

Names Mentioned with Clausen:
Marc Tyler, RB, Same Team
Arrelious Benn, Nations #1 or #2 WR, Dunbar, DC
Mark Byrnes, WR, Byrnes SC
Josh Ogelsby, Nations #1 OL, Wisconsin
Marvin Austin, DT, Maryland
Greg Little, WR, VA
Gary Gray, CB, SC

Along with many others that i cant remember right now.

I doubt ALL those kids will end up at the same school, if they did, that school should have a ---- of a team in 2-3 years. As for players following Clausen, it's only natural for players to want to go play with other superstars. Just look at what happened for OSU's basketball team.

Tyler and Benn, I think are the two most likely to follow him, but only to certain schools. I doubt you get Tyler to South Carolina, for example, if Clausen ends up there.

Austin may follow by default via his ties to Benn, not so much because of Clausen.

Tyler loves Tennessee, they will be a factor with him no matter where Clausen goes.

Clausen is going to end up one of three places, USC (Southern Cal), Notre Dame, or Tennessee...

I've heard stories that tenn isn't a big factor after their dealings with current QB's...one of which was his brother
