How can they win. I would like to see Hamilton make a move, but the pitching is terrible. Not 1 live arm! They better hit!

Pitching is one thing and defense is another. I said it would come down to who made the plays and who didn't! Guess what FF did not, they had 2 players who looked like it was their first game of the year, pathetic to say the least. At this level, first thing is you better hit and they will find a place for you to play. You better field as well or let someone else who can play. Coach B knew exactly what he was doing when he chose this bracket, he expects to coach these players out of it with a little luck along the way, i.e. FF tonight. Good Luck will be a better game on Wed vs Harrison. Big Blue 3-1.

I kind of agree, They did score 5 runs, I thought the pitching was going to fail again, the starting pitcher gave up 4 runs, maybe 5. turns out Blue was able to score 7. That kind of pitching again and they wont last! Blue has no Ace!

Whos going for Harrison?

Im not understanding this? Could you please retype that garbelly goop? Pitching is not good at all. The defense is bad , well ok. But if you have a mow em down ace then the defense at the HS level doesnt matter as much. Again Hamilton doesnt have that, they have noone that throws anywhere near 90mph and nothing that resembles a stud pitcher! Just my thought. And if "were guys at the game" means "were you at the game". The answer is yes!

I was there BP, what I was saying and seen is that FF defense was worse than HH. Goes toward my point that's why HH won the game since FF had more errors. I seen the write up by Rick and it showed 4 FF errors, not sure what game he watched, but I seen 3 alone by 3b counting the throwing error in the first. SS had 3 and that was being nice could have been 4 but guess you can't count not charging a ball so runner was safe. I thought HH pitcher threw well and so did FF. Came down to defense and deceison making in the clutch. Good luck tonight as I hope the rain holds off.

Im really having trouble reading your posts, Why don't you take an English lesson if you are going to respond to every post?

I never said a lot of kids hit 90mph. I said Hamilton has no stud on that team.

I said Hamiltons kids cant throw close to 90mph.

So you are saying Hamilton had 5 errors? I din't see that? Are you making excuses for the starting pitching? Do you have kid on that team? A nephew? What is clouding your judgement?

Harrison has a pretty good pitcher. Will the Kuykendal kid throw against Hamilton?

bpdawg: Rick should be a disinterested third party and have the errors scored correctly. I am not sure where he gets his stats but either way it goes back to not having a capable person to score these games accurately in the GMC. The GMC is supposed to be the top level Public High School teams playing D1 ball and they can not get accurate scoring. As for live arms I think Tyler Pennington's arm is alive and well. You still need defense and agressive base-running when you are in the late innings and need to score. I guess stats do not mean much in High School baseball. That is what they keep telling me on Yappi...

Hamilton was able to overcome their errors and FF was not. Besides both pitchers pitched well just came down to defense or lack of.

Stats? No stats arent not important at all in HS ball. I bet the Hamilton coach doesnt even keep them!

You can see them and what others have input by going on the GMC website.
