As hard as it is for me to say.......Butler is no. 1. Northmont is 2. Butler has a quality program that develops good ball players and produces wins that you just can't argue. The argument has to be 2 - 10.

I think the argument is really 4 - 7. I don't think there is too much argument as to who is 1 - 3, and possibly #4. 'Boro is pretty darn good.
Numbers 5 and 6 are up for grabs. 'Burg and LHS have split both of their games this year in extra innings, with the rubber game coming up this week in the playoffs. That game could go either way.
LHS had Centerville beat earlier in the season and gave it away near the end, but they were also RR'd on the road by 'Boro. LHS also lost to Wayne (yikes!), and had a very good Mason team beat but gave that game away too. :wallbang: 'Burg lost to Butler and squeeked by Xenia. LHS beat Butler and RR'd Xenia. It's a tough call.

I would put Butler on top and I do not just say that because I have a kid in the program. We lived in another community for 13 years and once my son was at the HS level we decided we wanted to move. We considered several districts but settled on Vandalia because of number one the schools and number two the baseball program. The varsity coach Trent Dues is a great coach and does a really good job of getting the most out of his athletes. More importantly Bardonaro and Hise at the jv level and thre freshman coaches are great teachers and motivators too. Butlers program is consistent and successful at all levels. The players names and faces change every year but the wins keep coming. Plus they play a tough schedule and always seem to do will in the tournament. More years than not they are one of the last DI teams left in the tournament. Butler does a good job at getting kids placed in colleges too. The kids work hard and are good citizens off the field. We have been nothing but pleased with our time at Butler and I look forward to the next two years and hopefully seeing my son on varsity.

I wouldn't put Wayne at 15. I would have them around 7-8.

This thread is pointless. This thread is full of biased opinions and people trying to rank themselves high and their opponents who beat them high. Nothing matters but what the teams do and who wins the title.

That's what this whole site is about. The thread is about the current state of the programs and based on the programs as a whole. Not just this seasons work. The fact that you responded to the thread shows it's not pointless.

Hey Baseballfan2009.... Sorry to quote myself here, but I didn't think my post was full of bias. Some of us are objective.

I don't think anyone is being biased. I spoke highly of the program my son is playing in because it's a good program. Winning the league 12 times in 15 years and finishing no worse than 2nd place is pretty hard to refute. Not to mention they won 11 of those in a row!! There is not another DI program in SW Ohio that can match that feat. There are a lot of great programs in this area this thread isnt a competition it's just people putting them in the order they see fit. Contribute to the topic or go away.
