Kings and Little Miami are tied for 1st as of now and Kings is done with conference play and Little Miami has one last game with Turpin so it should be interesting in th Cardinal

Ross plays the winner of LM and Wilmington. LM probably should have been seeded a little higher, looking at their record and they play in a little tougher division of the FAVC.

you would think the LM could pull off that first one to face ross. what about the braves? easy one with hughes what about west and then big moe? anything can happen now.

Glen Este wins the Buckeye division out right this year has alot of talent on the team. They play Middletown on Weds. Hope to see a few GE guys on the FAVC 1st and 2nd teams. Good Luck to them on Weds!

1st and 2nd team comes out after all favc teams have been eliminated from the tournament

Saw Marksberry pitch at Harrison and he should clearly be POY.

I was checking records on the enquirer and came across this story titled,
Walnut Hills baseball turns a corner (http://communitypress.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/C2/20090511/SPT01/905110323/)

This has to be a planted story because I saw them play Bacon and they looked as bad as I've ever seen. and their record is worse than last years, how is that turning a corner?

The way I see it, Kings is ahead of LM as of now (until the LM @ Turpin game).

Their schedule wasn't all that hard.

I will give it up to the Ross Rams this year, they played a very difficult non-league schedule. I hope they parlay that into some tourney success.

I agree and let's hope that does work to their benefit during the tourney run.

Marksberry is the real deal.

I also saw Walnut play and they weren't well coached at all(as the article says). Very sloppy and a lot of mental errors - they were not ready to play. sounds the new AD is trying to pat himself on the pack for the hire. clearly a planted story as the comment says.

LOL on Gerber...and no comment...Will agree on Marksberry he was on all year and so was his bat. Hopefully other have notice the talent that GE has had all year and reward them accordingly.

Ross-once again, not so much. Maybe it isn't the scheduling, they just struggle in the tourney. Not the coaching staff's fault, it has gone on for a long time. The Ross softball program rolls in the tourney

To all .. From Marksberry's Dad

Matt is fine ... threw 75 pitches tonight to finish the last 5 1/3 innings for a win against Middletown. .. nice velocity .. good control ... came in from right field to pitch in the 2nd inning

NO BLOWN OUT ARM !!

He threw 106 pitches in a 7 inning complete win against Anderson ... came back on 4 days rest and threw 120 pitches against Harrison in a 6 1/3 inning win for the FAVC Buckeye title .... he was ready to go again on Wed night against Middletown .. but the rain canceled ....

He had experienced some muscle soreness ... took some heat therapy at Wellington ... Matt says he's stronger than ever now with the rest .. Probably isn't going to start Monday night on 3 days rest .. but he really wasn't going to throw tonight so he could go Monday ...

Please be careful in posting information that could really start rumors about a kids health if you are unsure about your information.

Salute !! Let's play two ....
.. I now return to utter silence
Thanks
Bob
