The Trojans travel to Wellsville on Monday, then host the Tigers on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the Trojans travel to Mcd for a make-up game.
Time for the boys to focus.

I'm not sure.
Also, this week, the Trojans could face JM in a make-up.
Additionally, the Trojans will face Leetonia, at Leetonia, on May 13, at 4:30, in a Sectional game. The winner will face Columbiana the following day, at Columbiana.

I know about the regularly scheduled game on Monday, I hadn't heard about Friday's game, yet.
Let's see, games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, possibly Thursday, and Friday. I'm thinking everyone on the team may have to take the mound this week. :eek: :eek:

I believe that Tuesday's game got moved to Friday because of tournament. I also thought that WR has playing McDonald Weds....league play is a mess at this point.
Another give away for the Trojans tonight in a 7-4 loss. Too many mental errors, too many LOB.
The Trojans will host Wellsville on Tuesday, go to Mcd on Thursday, and travel to JM on Friday.

Whitlatch pitched an excellent game tonight. This was his best game of the year, hands down! He had great control and and most of all confidence. The bats did well but we still need to get better in situational hitting-- bases loaded with less than 2 outs. I do have to say that Jurica came through with his bases clearing double. Very big in a game that was close. Hubbs did a nice job at the plate as well. Still need to cut out some fielding errors though. Nice win for the Trojans, Much Needed!

Been watching Varsity baseball last 5-6years and I've seen more errors than probley all the years when I played....wondering why?even the better players seem to make more misclues then you would expect....whats the thoughts on that?maybe its just me.

Will the weather hold up for the Trojans' Thursday and Friday games?
A long trip for tomorrow's game. A 4:30 start is a little early for me, but I'll get there when I can.
The Trojan lose in the bottom of the 8th, 4-3. The Trojans had 10 LOB and shot themselves in the foot a few times. We even had a celebrity who umpired in field.....................Stevie Wonder. Stevie only missed three calls, big calls, but only three.
Next up for the Trojans, at Friday trip to Jackson-Milton, followed by a Monday game at Western Reserve. The Trojans then head to Leetonia on Wednesday for the tourney opener. If they win, the will head to Columbiana the following night.
That would leave two make-ups, home to WR and home to Lowellville. I hear that the Rockets have no interest in picking up the game. I sure hope that's not true.

I thought it was Ray Charles out there in the field umpiring, my bad. Despite the Umps, Sebring had many chances to win this game. It sure sounds like a broken record doesn't it. So many left on base! It was good to see some hitting going on by the younger kids. Especially the 3rd baseman, he needs it! Let's re-group and move ahead. We still have games left to win. Who will be on the mound Friday? In addition, what is the story with the center fielder?

Correct, the Trojans didn't help themselves in critical situations.
Yes, it was nice to see the 3B get aggressive at the plate and attack the ball. Those missed signs will have to be worked on.
Dev will take the mound on Friday.
The CF will return on Monday.

Sebring received the #6 seed and will play Leetonia. The winner gets Columbiana.
Sebring over JM this evening, 11-3. Every player had at least one hit. Trevor Eaton had 4. Dev got the win with Zach Baddeley pitching the 7th.

At the time of the draw the Trojans' record was 8-9. The Bears was 8-7. So the Trojans have to travel to Leetonia.
But over reserve also?
I was told that the seeds went strictly by record. At the time, Leetonia must've had a better record than Sebring and WR.
