Thoughts? Should be a good one. It should determine the 1,2, and 3 in the city standings

After hearing things about Mcnick and CHCA it sounds like Mcnick should win. They are rolling right now after knockin off Badin but CHCA is very good as well. I think I might try to make my way out to the game saturday. Who are some key players for CHCA? I have heard of McNick's catcher and heard he was having a great year. Who else does Mcnick have?

Reading should be mentioned in there with that 1 and 2

READING IS NOT CLOSE TO THE TOP 4 SCHOOLS....record is one thing, but you have to 1 play someone! and 2 beat someone! McNick has a solid 1-7 in there order and 3 vey hard throwing pitchers, not that any will probably pitch this game since it is non-league. CHCA seems to have a solid 2,3,4 hitters, but automatic outs from 7,8,9. Should be a good gane though since McNick will be playing after a full week of GCL games and CHCA seems to be coasting right now. But top 4 shouldn't change at all:

Badin
McNick
Batavia
CHCA

Just check at how many state titles Reading has won in baseball. Give me a break on teams they have played. They have played some tough schools.
They have swept Madeira who beat your number #3, Wyoming beat your CHCA whos third to last in the CHL

My top 4:

Badin 16-1 9-1

McNick 14-6 6-3
Reading 15-2 8-1
CHCA 14-3 10-0 these 3 in any order

Reading is a 6 time state champ

Reading will start getting more respect once they play a tougher non conference schedule... play some of the big schools if they are so good

Lloyd RHP junior CHCA # 1 vs. Haynes RHP sophomore McNick# 4 pitched.
Good game evenly matched teams, though would have liked to have seen McNick 1,2,or 3 pitch since CHCA used #1 & 2.
McNick looked dis-interested to be there, CHCA was pumped and ready for game.
Story of the game was McNick 4 errors leading to 5 unearned runs, went along with 6 walks.
CHCA only made 2 errors, one led to run, 2 walks. CHCA left 4 guys on base all game McNick left bases loaded 3 times and total of 14 on base.
CHCA looks poised to give Badin a run in Districts/Regionals, McNick needs to show same passion shown in GCL games.

I live in West Chester and have been watching/umpiring high school games for over 15 years, this is the nicest non-college/pro stadium in Ohio! Great venue for two good teams.

Looking forward to a scouting mission on CHCA soon. CHCA can afford to throw their top pitchers in big nonleague games since their league is very weak. Regardless of the passion, sounds like McNick gave the game away on unearned runs and stranded runners just like Badin did against the Rockets. The baseball gods have a way of evening things out like that. Seems like defense is McNick's achilles heel. If they can shore up the D, they could be playing for a while in the tourney. I have a feeling they'll be fine, Willy is a very good coach.
