Middletown High School varsity boys basketball coach Bob Ronai has announced that his son Jared Ronai, a varsity assistant coach with the Middies the last few seasons, has accepted a position as an assistant coach at Ashland University.
Ronai will be joining the staff of newly-hired Eagles basketball coach John Ellenwood, who spent the previous three seasons at Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Ky.
Ashland is a Division II school that competes in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

I believe peters is headed to Grand Valley State in Michigan.

Wow...i am glad...didnt' want him to ever be considered to replace his dad.... Congrats to Peters...but some of you should know that he was a better football player....and would have been a definite D1 DB....fast...tall.... aggressive... talked out of playing football by the current Middletown coach...who thinks that all of the players who want or will play for him should not participate in any othe sport......not knocking any school...education should always be paramount...but if your coach hasn't produced any D1 players as a routine...I would not put much stock in his ability to judge talent...
