View Full Version : Sebring vs. Jackson-Milton and Southern
The Trojans host the Blue Jays on Monday and head to Lake Milton on Tuesday. The Trojans then head to Salineville on Wednesday to play the Indians.
Thoughts from the Trojan faithful?

Should be a few wins this week I would think and with Southern maybe pitch a JV starter to get his feet wet for next year? Gets into trouble can pull him and bring in a stopper....but I think we'll score eough runs and they can relax and just pitch and be comfy.Thoughts on that idea?

The varsity pitchers still need work. #1 and #2 go on Monday and Tuesday. We'll see on Wednesday.
I see that JM is 1-12. The Trojans can't over look them. They need some "confidence builders" this week.

If the Trojans do not go 3-0 in these next 3 days (weather permitting), they should be ashamed of themselves for letting these games get away from them.
Sebring over JM, 10-3. Not pretty, but a win is a win.

Both leftfielders batted. Both got on, but I don't remember how.
Zach Baddeley did a nice job in the two innings that he pitched.
This evening's game has been rained out. They may play it on Thursday. The Trojans head to Southern tomorrow night.

I see that rain is forecast for the next 6 days. We'll see how many games we get in---unpredictable. Zach Baddely did a great job in relief. He continues to look more relaxed and confident. He definitely is throwing much harder and with more control. You can't have to many pitchers.
The Trojans win a stinker over the Indians, 9-8. Not pretty, but a win is a win.
Tomorrow at Jackson-Milton.

Well lets here the good and bad of the game......9-8 against Southern,I'm guessing that they didn't improve that much in a weeks time.

Southern didn't hit the ball the first time around, losing on a no-hitter. They hit the ball this time. Plain and simple.

They also had their senior players back for this one. They were on a senior trip last time we played. They came ready to play that is for sure, but a win is a win. Off to Jackson Milton tomorrow.

I dont know if its a "wow" factor...WR has been playing a lot of young kids and it seems as though they are catching their stride...helps that they have the best pitcher in the league in Nick Timko. A lot of baseball left to be played.

Game canceled. Nothing until Monday, due to the Prom this weekend. I'm sitting here wondering why no game? The sun is partly out and no rain. We didn't get that much rain today, just a light drizzle. I just hate to see another game called. We used to play in monsoons, so what gives??? Just frustrated!!
The Trojans now have make-ups with JM and Mcdonald, and a completion of a game with Lowellville.
The Trojans still have 7 league games to be completed. Stinkin' rain. :mad:

Why we didn't play the game yesterday, I'll never know. Every ball field in town was being used except the high school field. My youngest had practice and the field was in great shape, without any drainage. Let's just hope we can get all the scheduled games and all the make-up games in soon. We live in OHIO we should be able to deal with the weather better than that:shrug: .
