For Marlington, Summers is not a senior he is a junior. I would probably add Stinson to the Marlington list. I think he is looking at some D-III schools. For Lake, I know that Joe Piporo is ineligable this year because of his age. Kid is a great shortstop, he'll go somewhere though. Brothers from Sandy Valley is a cather to and he has commited to St. Andrews and hasn't Snoppel from CCC commited to Cleveland State? For Minerva, Troy Summers is probably their top player.

one the post was 2009 players...meaning seinors...secondly myers will not be the returing best hitter on the crusader team(he had two at bats all of last year) and finally messer will probably be the best player coming back for the panthers. Messer is a great hitter and just as dominate on the mound.

Keller and Baker from Central will be their top players. From what I heard, both are very good.

For Fairless and Tuslaw, catcher/1st baseman Matt Kulick will be the focal point of the Falcon offense. very good hitter and good defensively. Tuslaw's Andy Burrow and Eric Chapman will be their top players. Burrow is a good hitter and decent catcher. Chapman will be their top arm on the mound. Teddy Hyatt is prolly their best defensive player.

For Tuslaw, Andy Burrow is definitely a good player. I have pesonally watched him throw out some very good baserunners and I have seen him hit the ball very far. Some Fairless Seniors will be leading the way for the Falcons. Cody Arney, Jordan Widder, and Matt Morris...since Matt Kulick was already mentioned. Him and Burrow are very good.... similar players.

St. Thomas lost their main guys from last years team. I think they are young but Alazaus will should have them turned around in a few years.

How does everyone think lake center will do this year? lost only two seniors after a good season last year, kept most of the core together.

I think this was a thread about the top players for each team in the stark county area. Let's hear who you think are the top players?

Well, big yrs are EXPECTED from Brothers, Sutton, Wilson,Messer among others. I'm expecting a very good year from Parsons and Thomas and I can't wait to see who some of the new faces are making some noise in the county. :)

Unfortunately for FHS, starting catcher Matt Kulick will miss the start of the season with a broken finger on his throwing hand. No word as to how long he will be sidelined. This is a big blow to FHS.
